Personally I did mine slightly differently, I did one from glove box to back box and cam cover to off side rear wheel arch liner, this creates maximum boost and minimal lag.

Hope this is helpful.

I'v also heard if you link it up to the spare tyre you get like 30psi extra boost, make sure you do the rods first though!!

hi james i have just put a new engine in my car and need a bit of help with routing my vacuum pipes as the old engine had the connector valves and that seems to restrict the boost. do you have some pics of your set up?

Haha, only messing mate. I run one from inlet manifold to the dv and the other from the inlet manifold to the fpr (T'd off to the boost guage)
I would leave the solonoids electrically connected as the car will not adapt otherwise.

Few more pics.. Slowly coming together now :)
Dipstick cover is just sprayed cardboard, Undecided if I like it or not.. Will be made out of ally when I make my mind up.
Also going to make the rocker and crankcase breather pipes out of braided hose.

Baught a Qpeng 2.5" downpipe so I can put a few hundred miles on her before I get the custom 3" downpipe made and get it mapped.
Really nice quality actually, shame It will only be on for a few weeks!

Engine bay is looking great!

In regards to k04 setups on mk3s does the k04 downpipe meet up with the rest of a mk3 exhaust?

Cheers mate!

Well the Qpeng downpipe I have baught is actually for a mk3 golf with a 1.8t K04 conversion, but I have been assure it will fit the mk3 ibiza just fine (basically the same front end as the golf)
It will require a bit of cutting to length obviously but should fit fine.

The only reason I baught it is that I have no other way of getting any miles on the car before it goes for the 3" downpipe and map. And I really dont want to drop an untested car off to be mapped!

Coming along nicely though now, very happy. Just spent the last 3 evenings scraping all the coating off the brake calipers and painting them which was effort!

Sounds good, definately sounds a good idea testing it properly before mapping, last thing you want is problems and it cant be mapped or something lol
