Hi peeps,

I am currently at work and I don;t have the owners manual on me,

I have an 04 Ibiza.

Powerbulbs states:

Dipped/Low Beam is H7

Main Beam H1

Autobulbs Direct states:
Dipped Beam is H1

Main Beam is H7

Can someone confirm which one is correct?

Thanks

I know the one you mean, debadged at the front, different roof spolier?
I have seen the car, however I don't like the debadging.

From looking at the HID kit it's over £100+ I've got the Cambelt change due and a full service required!

Maybe in the future, i'll have to go to the car at lunchtime and check to see if it's a single headlight or twin.

that sounds like the one never really seen the front.

you can get hid kits for £50 on ebay my dad got some for his motorbike and the quality is better than mine and i payed £130 over a year ago. so i cant imagine you having to have the bulbs changed so regular ive never had to change my bulbs.

i can understand you waiting with the full service and cambelt change coming up.
are you going to bartletts seat for that? if so how much is that going to cost if you dont mind me asking.

No mate, I did take it there whilst the car was still under warranty, I did get the original cambelt change done there at 70,000 I can't recall the exact cost but it was around £250 - £350.

Carl the Service Manager is a nice chap and really helpful.

I currently take my car to MK Motors in Brett drive, Excellent service and Reasonably priced. I didn't check the price as I trust them down there. Before I called them I did get a price check from Bromley Seat at it came in at £385 for parts & labour.

Thanks for replying

I checked this evening and I have Twin Headlights

Just noticed both your cars are 06 Plates or newer.

From 02-06 the main beam is H1
.

Lots of places on the net and in shops get fitments wrong!
The best thing to do would be to remove one and see for yourself as I did.
It will be H3.
