As I said before lads I will try and get some logs done. I only have the free version, what should I log, just airflow?

You can slate the rollers all day long how many hundreds of you have used the RR at AmD?!

I have the free version aswell and you can log the air flow :) cant remember the exact block, think its 003?

Yeah I can do airflow no probs, 003 it is ;)

Just wondering if i should log anything else

Could log inlet air temps, not sure what block that is tho. Glad your happy with the map, roll on this wednesday and the 24th for me :)

I looked at the graphs aswell and coops10 power doesn't drop off and holds it all the way to the red line line, tOm's car makes good power but drops off before the red line, only mod coops10 has over tOm is the 3" TIP. I honestly believe the standard TIP and forge TIP are both a restriction in any set up, the 3" TIP is the key to more and better power ;)

I have a few more mods than Tom...

Forge FMIC instead of TX Autosports FMIC
Debaffeled charge pipe instead of standard (polished) charge pipe
Cold Air feed to Jabba heat shield compared to just jabba heat shield (probably makes no difference with bonnet up anyway)
Larger Jetex cone (plastic end) instead of slightly smaller Jetex cone with chrome end
3" TIP instead of Forge TIP
Forge MAP sensor pipe (less restrictive) compared to standard MAP pipe
Forge upper boost hoses compared to standard boost hoses

Awesome results mate, you must be over the moon. Really liking the power delivery in the graph too. How does it feel on the road with the new map loaded?

As said both fmic's do the same job. Debaffled charge pipe doesnt seem to make a difference, only sound difference was noted by a couple of people. Cold air feed wont matter on the rollers, i doubt the small size difference would make much difference. Boost hoses wont make a difference, just spool up time will be quicker with uprated forge ones as they dont expand like the oem ones. MAP pipe may make a slight difference but no one has said they noticed any major difference. I truely believe your extra power over tOm has come from the badger 5 3" TIP :)

The TIP could be making alot more than we all expected. I've got to adjust my jetex slightly, at the moment the metal joiner goes too far into the filter, so flow isn't laminar downard into the neck of the filter as it gets sucked in. It has to go around the metal before being sucked towards the MAF/TIP.

I think we need my 3" TIP to turn up and for me to go back on the rollers with that fitted and see what happens....

Could go on allday debating and comparing mods lol.

Feels great! Just doesnt stop pulling all the way to the redline. Lots of torque all across the band too.

Charge pipe seemed to help spool up when I fitted it.

Shaun did mention that the Forge FMIC has much better flow rates than the cheap ebay coolers. Some of them actually make things worse! But the TX one is very good and not one of the crappy ones.

Very true mate. The 3" TIP and yours rolling again should prove a few things

Hi Coops,

Just a quick one about your R32 FARB...

Did you notice any postive effects on traction once this was fitted or purely just less body roll and tighter turn in?

I'm trying to weigh up if it's worth buying a bigger than OE LCR FARB or just replacing the OE bushed with polybushes.

Hello mate, Its hard to say really as it was all fitted at the same time.... FARB, RARB, shocks, springs and poly bushes.

But the difference in the whole car was amazing. So much sharper, much less roll, less of the front of the car lifting up under acceleration, better turn in. Cant say I noticed that much difference in Traction to be honest as its always a problem  but im sure it had some positive effects.

Willie is the man to speak to about ARBs. He took me for a spin in his (he has R32 FARB and Neuspeed RARB) and it was crazy in the corners, totally flat, felt like a Scalextric car it stuck to its' line that well.

EDIT - should have said, I'm getting just my R32 FARB fitted when the car is in for the MOT at the end of this month so I'll be able to report back on what effects that's had in isolation.

I have pretty much the same as Willie... R32 front ARB, neuspeed rear ARB, front S3 brace, rear hughes engineering brace + all polybushed.

Handles like a dream ;)

Very envious... I need all of the above, but I'm just undecided on the rear brace as of yet.
