If I remember, the instructions also tell you to 'return to the pitlane' after testing them out :D

New brakes

Discs and pads eventualy on!

What a fcuk on. The retaining pins that hold the front pads in the calipers were seized and would not come out. So before I set about it with the dremel I had to sauce some now pins. RRP from the dealers for pad retaining pins/spring kit is £77 :-o. So I emailed AP Racing and they sent me some FOC :D

They look so much better now :)

Pics to follow tomorrow as I didnt have a camera with me and its to dark outside now.

Pics as primised :D

And before anyone says anything, I know the car is filthy and needs a good wash and polish

brakes look good mate. how you getting on with pads? did u find that they didnt need wearing in..mine seemed to work straight away without any problem

have u noticed much stoppnig difference with the new discs and pads?

oh...clean your car!!

How much did they cost mate? Look impressive. My brakes lock up quite easy well my abs sometimes comes on and they are crap lol. Can't afford them atm though.

Big increase in stopping power?

I've only done about 20 miles on them so still need a few more miles to bed them in before I realy test them out. Seam fine up to now though..

Discs were £150 for front and rear and DS2500 front pads were £120.

As for stopping power, see above post.

They drilled discs look nice. The DS2500 are great, I've never been able to fade them so far :) I think a track day would push them a bit but they would still be much better than road pads.

my pads faded once or twice on track days (standard pads) would be interested to see how these get on under some abuse

nice one!! i would def recommend a track day to anyone who hasnt done one!! are great fun..but can be very expensive....tyres, fuel, brakes, paying for the track day!
