Hey thanks for the comments

Picture was taken in the City Breda, where I live. More to the South.
Might look like rotterdam as this is also by the docks...

So this is how it stands today, probably not for long as I got plenty left to do, but here it is with the double round new catback exhaust

Ok, I just changed another OEM hose which had had its best time. The one from chargepipe to intercooler, on the front of the engine. Gotta say it was well snug, but looks good.

Also finished polishing my charge pipe and battery cover.

Next is to take off inlet manifold and polish that.
Can anyone tell me if injectors are screwed in or just pull out ones?

yeah the hose of the inlet wll also be changed by 2 hoses and a alloy pipe between.

The one from charge pipe is 51mm - 63mm 45 degree bend

I have a thread on it in mk3 section.

The engine bay is really coming along now, and am liking it more and more. Still got plenty to do but its a project.

So today had a little play of placing my boostgauge inside one of the airvents. Something which I have been wanting to do for some time now.

Took me quite some time as I had to modify the inside of the air vent to actually fit the boostgauge. I still have a little bit of finishing off to do but think its looking quite ok, plus its something you don't see everyday.

Let me know what you think

the nice thing is that I can actually see the boost readings now. Before I had it in the middle open compartment, but if I was giving the car some proper beans then I couldnt read the gauge without being 'unsafe' and taking my eyes off the road.

This position works well

Got my carriers back yesterday from machine shop, and also my discs which have been redrilled to 4x100.

looks great they did a good job. Cost me about 25 quid for the milling and drilling of carriers and discs. Pretty good imo.

Saturday I'll be fitting them. Can;t wait

yeah hoping they will!

Definitely be a completely different sight, and I'm sure braking power will increase quite a bit as well.
2 more days then I start fitting.

bleeding the system is what is gonna be the biggest pain. I don't have a bleeding kit, so will fit a piece of seethrough tube over nipple brake, loosen nipple, brake loosen nipple, etc etc. till only brake fluid comes out into tube.

sounds right yes?
