Thanks for the nice comments

Yeah here in Holland people also don't like the despoilerd rear...but I think it makes it look cleaner. Especially when I get it lowered it will have the German look.
Here is one of the sickest cordoba's I have ever seen and its not even a Cupra

Really like that, you dont see them every day well not over here! Cant help but feel that the spoiler gave abit more of a "sporty" look

Thanks for the comments.

Reading the thread in Mk3 section of ride hights makes me want my coilovers now. When I look at my car and the pics its just screaming to be lowered! Then it will look the beast...especially when Revo Stage2 is installed.

But thats why they call it a project i guess.

Nice looking but get the cupra rims back on i would say

What have you done to the front grill looks like a red tint to it?

Rare colour of car and a nice colour at that.

Thanks.
Yeah I am also real fond of the color. Don't think they have that in the UK but there is also barely any here in Netherlands.

The grill I haven't done anything to, however I see what you mean with the red glow. Think its the sun because its actually the regular cupra grill grey

So some little updates.

I changed my oil cap for a steel one off ebay which fits fine. I also finally fitted the 45 degree elbow on the maf to the airfilter, and I relocated the fuse box to fit my steel battery cover.

let me know what you guys think

Oh yeah and also fitted my boost meter. However was hoping one of you could tell me which wire is good to use from the 3 plugs going into the radio unit, for the backlights

cheers

As you can see I have only done part of the inlet manifold till now (think that's what its called..haha)

I have also relocated my fusebox from the top of the battery to the side to make room for the battery cover.
I also finally fitted a 45 degree elbow on my maf to move the airfilter

And I fitted a boost gauge.
However can anyone shed some light on which wire from the radio (there are 3 plugs each containing several colored wires) I can use for the backlight of the gauge?

To polish my rocker cover and the rest of inlet I will have to take it off...problem is I need the car on a daily basis so will have to work quickly and parts at a time..

what you think?

So yesterday after a long evening of sorting the car, I fitted my 2.5" Simons catback.

It ended up being the double round end piece, but gotta say it looks great!
Fitting was actually not too bad. I also finally cut the DP and turned it 90 degrees so that the second lambda sensor could be fitted. The hole for the sensor was first pointing upwards and it couldn't fit between the tunnel and DP. But now welded it all back up and finally after about 3 months I have no more fault codes! I had 3 to do with that second lambda sensor.

As for noticing change:

I can really notice that the turbo can spool much more freely now. Just a question, now that I fitted it and I accelerate, I hear a very faint whistle as well as the loud spool noise of the turbo. The spool sound I already had, due to the TIP, however never had the whistle before.
Is this just the turbo whistling? And do I hear it now due to the exhaust letting the turbo spool up quicker due to less restriction?

Pictures will follow as soon as I give the car a good clean!
