well today I meant to swap the brakes on the front to 312mm ones.
Everything fitted great as in redrilled discs and machined carriers. However, the OEM brake line enters the calliper with a thin screw thread, whilst the TT brakes have wider screw thread inside the calliper. That meant I had to change brakes lines so I bough goodridge metal ones.

However I cannot for the life of me get the OEM brakeline to come off where the metal green brakeline begins to run to pump in bay!!!

Damn thing is rounding on me as well now. So think I'll try heating it as soon as I get my hands on a burner.

Always my luck...


But brakes did look sick when I put em on!

Anyone that can help me with more info on the bolt though?

So today had another go to fit the brakes.
And they are on! I managed to save both brake hoses as well.

So now have 312mm brakes with TT callipers and goodridge hoses.

don't mind rims they are on the way out, to be changed for bbs...

I am still unsure.

I don't know if the lm's will fit in 16"...so probably end up getting the 17's

So last weekend I re painted all callipers on the car. Weather was actually horrible but the result is fine. Still waiting on reply for the BBS rims, but they will follow shortly.

Saturday I also bought a nice set of coilovers for little money. They were used for 3 months on a biza and got them for 100 quid.

WIll be fitting them next weekend (weather permitting as I have to do everything on my drive)

But watch this space, as updates will be posted shortly!

there is many shops that sell them here in Netherlands. However they are still quite hard to come by as they get 10 sets which sell within the week.

16" lm's cost about 450 new
17' cost 500 new

all in 4x100

I think I am actually going for BBS RC's but still not sure. Will know more later this week...

Good because Euro is our currency As said in Ad Lav's thread, could you point out some links to the shops that sell em? 500 euros is soo cheap. And I know for sure that there arent any shops that sell LM reps over here..

Did you not fit the caliper clips when you did the 312 upgrade, cannot see them on your photos?
