Bit of advice reuvers

Buy the motorsport clamps ive got....There a must Imo as you have no swadge lines on the Pipes....

Otherwise u'l keep poping them off...

Hi mate, I'm always open for advice but have no idea what you're talking about here...(non native )

do you mean that the openings of the IC don't have a 'upstanding edge' behind which you put the clamp so the hose doesn't pop off? if so what kind of clamp prevents that?

edit: btw if you do mean what I said above, it does have upstanding edges but on the pic there is still platic bags around the holes so no crap came inside during transport ;)

Oh right you mean those pipes.

The ones that have a coupler on it do have a swadge line. The above pipe without a swadge is going to be welded.

However the pipe without the swadge is also coupled on the other side. so what kind of clamps would I need for that?

so what you guys are actually talking about is clamps that will not perrish under high pressure, like the regular ones (as they usually perrish when tightening them too much). correct?

I have 5 of those clamps on order from autoperformanceonline on ebay. Seem to have good quality for good price. Except been waiting a week and a half on delivery...

so those clamps are the ones to use then on the pipes that don't have the upstanding edge...will do :)

tarzan, this route is also slightly bigger in dimension so should have better flow. I'll keep record of what I do.

I'm using 60mm all throughout the route. Intercooler openings are 57mm though, so will have a small switch of size on both ends.

I'll be getting a washer bottle from a golf 2

Figured I'd throw up a new pick of how the car stands today :)

Rear wheels really need some spacers between them.
I lowered the front another cm yesterday and think I'll leave it like this.
Rear is fine when I fit 8mm spacers.
