i dont know as a i a friend did it for me and i cant remember what it was set to. it may be down to the DP and sports cat, bill can you shed some light on this? thanks for the graphs bill.

I thought it was on HB5 (old settings) but cant remember.. would need to plug in and see what its reported as being set to.

HB5 old ~ Newboost 7 or 8 roughly.

ok thanks

in fact i've got a revo stage 1 remap for 4 months now, and had my forge fmic and complete milltek exhaust fitted on monday, so i was comparing my logs with those of Olly20VT's car :)

i have not tried yet something higher than lb9, that may explain some differences between the numbers.

Olly20VT, is your twister taking air in the oem position or from the front bumper ?

from the oem position at the mow, and the settings didnt make much differance IMO just 1psi more spike on boost, the DP+cat made a big differance and the FMIC dose whem you give it some stick as a BMW 2.5i found out the other day (looked parked)

wonder why the graph shows little drop in boost after fmic fitted?? wierd  although it done the job temp wise

because the pipes aren't done up quite right?

No boost drop on the one on Lorna's car (or Martyn's I think)

different ambient conditions 3'C different.. lower when logged with FMIC...
simple as.....

;)

meets its torque request from less boost. (there's more airmass you will notice on FMIC run)

you think?
no more than your FMIC did ;)

Dont worry Bill not slating it!

dunno on mine never done before logs as spec was constantrly changing, even tho still wonder why it does it?? (Slight loss due to bigger core = more flow? urbo running out of puff?)

Dormouse

Available In Race Blue
There should be 'some' boost lost with a bigger core. Purely because of the temp drop though the IC. I have not bothered to work it out yet, but i't'd going to br pretty small. I recon I have lost 0.5 psi. Doesn't make any difference to the 'butt' dyno though.

Dor.

different ambient temps mike.. between those logs.
airmass increased a smidge and less boost..... denser air to begin with.
the before/after temps is the biggy..
