Here's my car on Mikey's old FR rims that he wants to sell me

If you want Mike I'll either pay for the cheap tires on your cupra's to be put on the FR's and have your Toyo's back or I'll buy you a whole new set of T1-S's or R's you'll just need to get them fitted. Come on that's an offer and a half. And after all they're just getting in the way in your garden ;)

yea but the tyres that are on there are nearly brand new t1s's so you would be getting the alloys for free!! haha!! dunno mate i really want them for santapod on the 22nd so i can let the pressures right down and get a good time :( your making me feel bad for not selling them now :(

alright chaps.... just got home from elvington raceway. sorry for no reply sooner!
well its a great improvement i ran a 14.7 quater mile. the track was crap tho lol,
And yes it was a VT2 i went for but allards said my car would be producing around the mark of 225/230 bhp at the mo... dont get me wrong it does smoke especialy when it comes on boost very thick smoke but runs clear once going. will try get to santa pod on the 22nd with the rest of you guys and get some better tires as mine are sh1t lol. fuel consumption is around the same an ormal driving bet once the fight foot gets planted it soon drops... as for the uprated clutch...
hmmmm it takes some getting used to its a helix clutch in mine its very sharp to start with and quita a bit of vibration but once bedded in its great!
just waiting for exhaust now should be here soon.

glad your pleased with it mate, would be bloody great if it was 230bhp without an exhaust as i heard its quite a big restiction, infact jabba said i must have the downpipe and de-cat to fit onto the new manifold as the old one wouldnt be good enough, i ran a 15 flat with my re-map when i was running 176bhp and that was with a .7 reaction time(i know i know i have bad reaction times haha) well aslong as your pleased with it mate, would be good if you make it on the 22nd me and alex (avrs) are having a showdown aren't me alex?? the winner gets my FR alloys(joking alex) haha

yea i get stupid amounts of wheelspin even with top of the range tyres as soon as i get cheap tyres on there it just spins all the way untill 4th but i am going to have some toyo proxie t1-s's with presure let down to go down pod with this time so should be good.

reaction times doesnt make a diffrence as far as i now the timer doesnt start till the car go past a sensor on the start line! ;) whats going on at podon the 22nd?? is it 22nd of september??? if so them im IN!!!!

letting tyre presures down will get you better grip but it will also slow you down mid strip! over inflating is aparantly better as less friction and rolls quicker ;) iirc i saw it on that vroom vroom show (very reliable sourse  )

thats true rash but with a high powered car that is hard to get the grip down you will loose more itme spinning your wheels up at the start, well i did when i only had 176bhp so with 230bhp and 350ft/lb i would imagine its going to be a nightmare trying to get the power down!! yes mate there is quite a few of us going up santapod on the 22nd of september would be quality if you could make it, will be the same bunh of guys that are going to the megameet that alex is sorting out, would love to hear the sound of your car anyway hahaha!!!

Well Mikey it seems as though I'm not gonna be able to get you to budge so I won't keep asking. No need to feel bad at least now I know what they look like. I just hope I can get my alloy sorted before next Tuesday so I can get the map tweaked as they won't do it while it's wearing the spare.

Ok I'm sure we can come to some sort of agreement. If my new alloy isn't sorted by Friday I'll give you a buzz as I don't want to miss out like you said, thanks for the kindness. I've looked at the for sale section but still can't find any FR wheels for sale to see what they go for maybe people like them so much they don't sell them. I've been told I need to get spacers too if I buy them as apparently they look girly lol.

Don't fancy my chances against rashCupra to much, but will give it a fooking good go anyway... ha
