think you would struggle to get 10 tdi 6 speed owners that want to spend £££@s on a quickshifter :(

Sorry mate other then generic remaps JBS don`t have a fukcing clue what they are doing when it comes to diesel tuning. Ask JBS how many hybrid turbos they have fitted to diesel cars ( probably count on one hand easily ) and then look at the graph and power produced. Compare that to the number of hybrids fitted by Jabba and Allards. If you want to go to some other then Jabba or Allards take a look at APS, Central VWAUDI run by Simon Cooper who is a diesel tuning GOD :worship:http://www.centralvwaudi.com/ etc. There are alot of companies that have started to do this conversion with good results that know alot more about diesel tuning then J B ullshite S .

fcuking bang out of order mocking jbs like that HAVE YOU MET THEM?[:@]
they have a great team and on display most of the turbo's in their waiting room/reception are diesel turbo's! you cant slag off a company like this!
really fcuks me off as they are all hard working genuine vw,audi, seat, skoda SPECIALISTS/friends and for you just to put a bad comment with no proof is so :w4nk: :birdy:

they work very hard to keep good customer base and they get alot hits from this site and rightly so! so for you to put a un thoughtful comment like this in is :censored: annoying!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I stand by what i say. How many hybrid diesel turbos have they fitted to peoples cars ? Why do they insist that you need uprated injectors to reach 230 bhp when Jabba, Allards and several other companies in England and europe can make that power without uprated injector. Why if they are such a great company are they banned from Briskoda ? JBS are good at tuning 20vt cars and should stick to that.

well thats your opinion ive obviously never spoke to them about derv tuning for obvious reasons but just to throw some harsh words at a tuning company because they put uprated injectors on big diesel turbo cars is wrong imo

jbs arent a company that want to get you as much power as possible this is how i understand all others work

jbs give you reliability and better drivability james does an amzing job and knows what he is talking about

think we are going to have to agree to dissagree

So if you took your car to JBS and was told you needed something fitted to your car which is about £800 that no other company fits to get the same power you don`t have a problem with that? Plus the fact that the uprated injectors that they want to fit are over sized for the turbo so the car will smoke like hell and still only get 230bhp. I am not knocking thier customer services as Mike does a good job ( and has a smart looking misses ! ) and Kev is a great mechanic. Diesel tuning is totally different to petrol tuning, i used to do petrol tuning. Hopefully we can agree to disagree on this one mate :coolthumb

Sorry mate but i had to post this in reply.
So thats why they are always pushing thier hybrid turbo pertol range ? These turbos will of coarse "give you reliability and better drivability"
jbsaug.jpg

I admit they seem to do a great job in pushing the 20vt engine into making more and more power and if i had a 20vt car that i want to push to the limit i would seriously look at JBS but we are not talking about petrol tuning we are talking about diesel tuning.

When it come to James and diesel tuning and mapping you might want to talk to Stocky and Stoneyford mate for a second opion or Steve Cain when it comes to petrol tuning.
My keyboard is now locked on the subject of jbs as i am not wanting to get into an argument.
Nice and sunny down here and the M5 is looking nice and slow with traffic as usual.

keeping out this lol i can only put my point of view across in one week tomorrow lol cant wait he he.....

Would be interested to know how your conversion goes figures wise as I'm currently running an Allard VT2 and don't feel the car is utilising the turbo as much as it could. However I'm currently without an FMIC and been suffering a fair bit from heatsoak. I think I'll be braking into the overdraft and buying my FMIC soon so I don't have to get embarrased by Mikey again lol.

Mikey give me a txt or call when you're back so I can get even more jealous of your car after you take me out in it :D Also then I can go on about how good it is before next saturday.
