That roof lining looks out of place i think dave even if you colour the edges. It really needs to plastics around it.

If you are goint to keep it, you need to get rid of the large tabs on it so the whole edge is square. Take it down to show kinsy with the problem you got and im sure he'll suggest something.

Fester like the thinking, I still got the plastic trims here. Might mark them up get them cut and then spray them black.

Still wishing I had the roof sprayed instead now lol

Phil, Kinsy said it's not a lot he can do about it now.

So I told them to remove it for now, so when it gets down to me tomorrow I can see what the roof looks like without it.

Told him about cutting the trim so it looks like a boarder around the lining and he would trim it in alacantre black to match the lining.

Don't know which one to go for now

Well the snot as returned home and it was lush watching it on the back of the trailer.

Only thing is one of the alloys were chipped when the car moved on the trailer (not all 4 wheels were strapped) and paint rubbed slighly on the wheel straps, leaving a whitey/grey mark on corner of a spoke [:@]

Really wish I had got a trailer and collected myself now!

Fitted my Stack gauges, well almost.... they in and light up, also dim with the dial but haven't fitted or wired up the senders because of the rain, it's p!ssing it down.

Rung OSE he said leave the car with him they will sort my alloys out for me and once it's up there he will put it through a MOT'd as well because I'm working silly hours again next week.

Here's a few beadage shouts and a few of the snot :D[B)]:D:clap:

Thanks guys, last night all I could think of was the roof and how gutted I was for not having it sprayed when I should have.

Seeing it today, even after the chips in the wheels.... I'm loving it more and more, neighbours are laughin at me because I've spent all evening wiring up my gauges while smiling to myself!

It's soooo nice to have the snot back, just need my MOT'd to enjoy her :)

Bit more to update, when the rain stopped I decided to finish what I started with the gauges. Here's a few pics but they were taken in the dark, I will take some better ones in the morning.

The Oil Temp isn't working yet because the sender isn't fitted yet, got a new sump plug wiv a female thread for the sender to go into to. The wire is there but will fit the sender when I do a oil change next week but the Voltage and Oil Pressure is working.

Here's a diagram I drew up quickly in work on my break this morning

No more CD Player... the engine is the best soundtrack you can get :)

Give you an idea when they lit at night

The flash on the camrea doesn't show them lit up but shows them more clear

Is 75psi on start up good or bad? Got to start learning when there should be high pressure and low, when I rev it slightly (up to 4k max) it goes to almost 100 psi

You up bright and early fella!

I will have to pop down when it's MOT'd let you see if the diff is any good and make you buy one for the Golf! Plus I haven't seen your house yet :)
