The exhaust sounds fantastic Jay, you definitely made the right choice. Sounds unusually fruity for a LCR, some may even say it sounds filthier than a Kerry Katona cream pie, f4nny fart!

Thanks for the feedback :). It sounds better than that in reality but she is a dirty girl ;), I think it's sooting up properly now as I'm getting back fire constantly & it's more tuned sounding. I got my Dad to drive it down the local dual carriageway (forgot camera ) and where I was worried that it would be crazy loud outside it really isn't but loud enough for sure and soooo nice sounding. Everyone who has a ride in my car with the windows down just sits there smiling.

I'll be at the AMD RR day in Sept for anyone who wants to hear it, have a ride & it'll be on the rollers too. Sept is a long time to wait though, I wish there were more big meets but I'll post up in here when she's booked into AMD for Stage 2 on a Saturday for anyone want to come down.

Love this ride, looked super clean at the last AMD RR day. Look forward to seeing it again in september but this time you won't make my car look like a 4x4 :p

It's always nice to have someone do a drive by in your car. I was forever getting my mate to do drive by's with my VTI, it had a HKS exhaust, downpipes and induction, it sound absolutely mental. Couldnt live with it now but it suited me at the time.

Im down at AmD the following saturday, shame its not on the same day. I'll do the RRD though in september, still havent had mine on the rollers. Maybe another local meet is in order? We've got the weather for it now, no excuse not too!

I'm not actually booked in at AMD yet dude, I need to fir the FMIC & fix two boost leaks first, maybe even two new coilpacks also as two are new (2 & 4) but the other's must be dude to die after 8yrs surely.

When the car is at Stage 2 and running right, I'll be up for a meet for sure, Lakeside perhaps?

Jason, James - we'll all have to meet up when Jam gets his stage 2 map down there. Maybe clean the cars up and have a mini photo shoot. Just a few of us..

Lol only just saw that after I posted
Was thinking you could knock one of them up too then have jamjays heatshield shop lol

I'd happily knock these shield up, they are really easy but I don't want to market the service on here before speaking to the mods :). They wouldn't be too much, £35 tops I reckon.

Sounds perfect, apologies for the delay in getting it done but very soon I hope :)

Lovely looking car there and one hugely detailed build thread!
Will make awesome reading when I dont skip over bits

Thanks for the comment, really appreciated and I hope this build helps you out wit your bits & pieces. I've been on here a while so expect a number of posts that aren't exactly aimed at the build but I've tried to index the relevant bits on page one, for more info just look before & after those posts for extra bits :).

Not an update as such but this Friday my friend and his Subaru will be paying me a visit and helping me swap the clips on the leaky PCV hoses, hopefully that'll be boost leaks done. Then we'll be off for some pics and videos of the exhaust :).

DV Relocation Kit

Just a small update to the parts list, I decided to fit the DV Relocation Kit that I bought to see whether 1. it fitted & 2. if it produced any leaks. As you might know I have this for sale so it was worth making sure that the new owner will have a decent product :). I don't like the red upsetting my bay TBH so it's now been removed and reboxed ready for a new home but it made the DV sound insane, very 'Cossie' like

Hi Mate :)

How you been? It's been a while since we've spoken, had a read through your thread and the car has come on a lot since we last met at the AmD RR day. Wanted to ask, who did you use for your exhaust? Did you use them for just the DP & Cat or for the full system? I need to get a full system done and I don't no wether to go with custom DP & Cat onto my Miltek Cat Back, or Full Custom.

Hi James, nice to hear from you, I wondered if you had sold up.

Longlife in Carshalton, Surrey (Croydon almost) did mine. I bought a Pipewerx 3" DP & Race-Cat and then had Longlife extend the 3" theme and make the Cat-Back for me. I pondered for ages over Milltek etc etc but I wanted more sound really, you're not too far from me so I don't mind meeting up and showing you what I have. I will be getting the car in for Stage 2 soon, 2mths or so later than planned, at AMD which will be on a Saturday, perhaps pop down?

no, haven't sold up, I got banned for doing something stupid. but now I am back :D

The car is actually of the road at the moment, been doing a few changes to it, need to update the readers ride thread, been driving round in a L reg punto recently:ban:

I want something a bit more noisy than I have got as well, will give them a call at lunch and see what they can do for me. Are they capable of doing the DP & Decat as well do you think?

Banned from SCN or banned from the road? :D. It happens though, guessing you've learnt from it :).

What changes have you made? I'm interested to see how she's changed.

Yeah I am sure they'll do you a DP & Cat too, make sure those are 3" but it's up to you if you want a 2.5" cat-back or 3" but bare in minde 3" will cost more. I chose this fabricator as the reviews were great.
