Honestly mate, dont watse your time.

i have one on the 8v and its done nothing but put the cars MPG through the floor.

I cant wait to take it off !

you cut a length of fuel line out, and place the octane booster in it's place, jubilee clip it in and away you go

it basically catylyses the petrol making 95 RON effectively 100RON :D, and i've seen them work, they're £80, and last 250,000 miles

happy days

well it'll give improved MPG and better burning, so the car will burn cleaner, will be like running your car on high octane all the time, so while there's no BHP gains, it'll run a lot smoother and cleaner

i'll try and find the paperwork for them, they're called "Formula Power" and also specialise in performance HT leads, they're mail or phone order from what i can remember

hi guys what does the power boost valve look like?

i am attaching a pic could somebody please tell me what this is

Think I save my £80 and use super unleaded, tesco super unleaded is 99RON :D

had a look arround and cant find this inline octane booster, where can i get one???

Won't really help a 1.4 engine.

Yep thats one!

Power valve

so can somebody tell me if i removed it and reconnected the fuel pipes to each other then my mpg will be up again?

why not use tesco super unleaded (99ron) and see have that goes! Gives you an idea but since it's only 4-7p more than normal petrol (guessing) then I think I rather use the petrol pumps :)
