I had reasonable grip, I was struggling to feed in the power smoothly without bogging down. This was the first time I had done any launches since having the Sachs clutch fitted.

It's obvious there is a good time in your car somewhere. One day it's going to come together and run an amazing time.

Hey Aaron, stupid question time...

Since the BT i bet you are getting no more than 150 miles to a tank (spirited driving) the same as the evos??

Im only on stage 1 and i get 250 to a tank and tbh i dont really hang around..sos for the boring MPG question as it doesnt really bother me too much but was just wondering for a 350bhp car and 55 litre fuel tank dont really mix lol..

Lol, Bret this is an old mans thing, the older you get the less you worry about BHP and the more you worry about MPG :)

It's actually quite good, normally returning over 20 mpg and it's difficult to not plant your foot, it's too much fun.... I never fill it up though so I can't really answer the question fully.

Great photos Aaron! I saw a Audi RS6 with your wheels today, still the only wheels I'd ever ditch the OEM LCR ones for!

Cheers George... I still love them too, it's a bonus that they're so rare.

Bloody hell who cares how many miles to the gallon you get less the better cos it means your running serious power , " oh hello mr bugatti driver what's the average mpg you get " oh around 7mpg " " ah crap if it was 10mpg I would have got one "

Buy a diesel if your worried about mpg

Hehe... I think it would be better to get a second car but it'll do 30mpg on the motorway easily.

At north Weald today for a few quarters..... Clutch went on the way here :(

i do 400 miles a week on motorway and thinking big turbo but trying to see what sort of mpg will get, sat at 80 for 200 miles. i not bothered around town mpg but dont want to be putting sixty quid on to get 150 miles down the motorway and need to fill up again,
On the track I have been getting between 3-8 MPG average
On the road I can get 42.5 MPG average
All in a stage 2 LCR
My mate with a LC and a GT28RS got 50 MPG average

**** Aaron, what clutch do you have fitted?
Was it only slipping or did it totally let go?

looks like oil contamination so its slipping.. it was a Sachs organic. im so gutted. only time will tell what the problem is and how much its going to cost.

may as well throw a diff in while the box is off.

not really, it hasnt moved from my drive. i was going to buy a diff from the states but the recent slight dip in exchage rates mean i may as well buy one from over here. im just pondering as to which bolt set to go with. i really want to get it back on the road sometime soon.

Aaron, I asked the guy who fitted my diff which bolts to go for and he was equally happy to fit the diff with either. The OEM bolts were £50 cheaper so it was a no brainer for me.
I got Stealth racing to fit mine and got the diff from PSI tuning for £700, Autotech Wavetrac :)

thanks buddy, how much were the OEM bolts? it does seem pointless going through Issam at the minute although i would like tpp put business his way. it looks like ill be buying from an english supplier. it was your write up that made my mind up on which diff to go for.

i hope so, i think there was a 12 in it anyway. i may get the SEM and WMI sorted while the car is off the road.
