So my clutch pedal didn't come all the way back up on my way home this morning. When I got home I pulled it up, and it seems fine. Is this a common issue? Also, its pulling to the left, even after I got the tracking done 3 weeks ago. Any ideas what could be causing this?

ive had loads of clutch issues
pedal pressure could be

air in the system - needs bleeding - check for leaks - lines and brake bleeder block
brake fluid low - check the system for leaks
slave cylinder on its way out (6 speeds is inside the gearbox)
master cylinder(by clutch pedal) could be on its way out or leaking
clutch release bearing might be shot (inside gearbox)

start with checking fluid and maybe bleeding the clutch line

What happened to it? Did it snap? I was driving home this morning and my clutch pedal wouldn't come all the way back up, should I be worried?
yeah theres a design fault and small piece of metal snaps leaving you stranded. The pedal needs a few welds and will be fine.

I'm going to have to buy a new clutch pedal and get it welded just in case.

Where are you all getting them from?

I got mine from there, but if you're going to weld it then you could just get a secondhand one from Thai

It was the slave cylinder in the gearbox when that starting happening to mine, but as Connor said it could be other things too.

Slave cylinder is only about £40, main cost is removing and refitting the gearbox. Probably 3 hours labour. If you have to do it then it may be worth replacing the clutch while you're in there.
Yeah, 8 most probably would do. Any uprated clutches that are good and cheap? And any other modifications I could do while it's being changed?

Going through it lads... Have the dreaded lean code, boosting all kinds of jumpy, and need to get the emissions down for the NCT👎 have changed the n75 no change, ordered a boost leak test kit, can't get a mechanic for over a month...
Was going to just reorder the pcv system and replace the parts but the cars modded and theres a n249 and pcv delete on it. Can't tell what I should be doing or looking for as all the videos and tutorials are for stock or different to what I have going on 😅

Anyones guidance or encouragement is welcome😂

Do you have a boost gauge? you could probably tell if you have a boost/vac leak there first

People do weird stuff to the PCV system, you really cant go wrong with the standard setup. you might try getting a cheap PCV pipe kit for that.

lean can be a few things, you could even have poor fuel pressure. What codes do you have?

Yeah have the boost gauge. Seems to be jittering when idle, boosts sometimes holds at 10psi then will hold at 15psi then other times shoots to 20psi. So from my research that means n75/vac lines/PCV.

Going to service the recirc valve replace the lines.

Was going to just put in a catch can for the pcv.

From what I can see these mods were done car was mapped for them

P0171 code on the basic obd scanner.

Just had it in the garage for the manifold gasket thought that was the issue but no better performance just less tractor like now
