Precisely that lol. This has been going on for a few weeks now! The clip on the plug is actually broken but it stays snug on there and hasnt come close to coming off. I hope that couldn’t cause an issue?

Are the factory pins still making contact tho if the plug is broken? I’d check it with a continuity meter mate make sure it’s making the connection. Worth a check.
Just edited this when I saw you said it’s the clip ignore me lol it will be fine my clip is busted on my maf and it still works.

It’s only the little latch clip that broke, the plug still connects and stays put. If it was fully disconnected wouldn’t it throw a code specific to the map? I’ve got boost pressure loss between turbo and throttle.

New map sensor fitted. Went bosch as i found one on Euro and with their discount 26 quid.

Was a different code to mine though, 0261230266

Still seems to be a 2.5 bar sensor and the car runs just as normal with it fitted. Will have to see if it cures my daily limp mode.

Edit: I spam this thread too much lol

Me again. Did the 02M shim mod, what a big difference a little shim can make. Well recommended, my bearing had loads of play in it too.

Essentially it’s a thin shim that goes behind a snap ring, and it stops this axial bearing from moving around. From what I gathered it became a factory feature eventually.

It stops whine on decel, knocking and kick back after gear change, and crunching which I didn’t have. But my bad whine has gone 95% and gear change is now muchhhhh smoother.

I’ve not used mine since sat morning as I’m back at work. I’ll hopefully get up sat morning wash it and take it out for a joyride. I’m getting bored of the stage1 and ram air intake now need to save up and get a turbo back. Really want a k1 miltek but don’t know if I can be bothered trying to find a diffuser as I’m REALL impatient when it comes to cars lol

My, there’s been some busy folk on here. I’ve not been on for a few weeks I’ve been so busy so caught up with everyone’s antics today.
Some serious jobs goin on!
Most I’ve done is order a tailor made car cover for my Leon. ( it’s not even been washed for a few weeks)
Been building a new radio controlled car though in the few hours I’ve had to myself.
I’ll stick a photo on the forum when it’s done. Lol

Round 3 with the FMIC. I wanted to fit the fogs whilst changing over the couplers.

So after fiddling with this widely acknowledged ill fitting kit, i have to say the only real issue that the pipe on the drivers side hooks over too much, causing that side to get pulled upwards. The only way around it is to cut the hard pipe so its less hooked or what i have done and move it as far away from the IC as possible, going under and around the side the fog.(note the longgg hose lol)

Also theres a million threads asking about how to do it keeping your fogs. Its pretty simple; on the cupra bumper, with the supplied pipes it must go below the fogs.
