Bought some new speakers and adapters for the front. Just waiting on some sound deadening/insulation so I can fit.

With the fine weather and having a week off I thought I'd make a start on some of the more involving things I want doing to my car. I'm not far off with doing the necessary in the engine bay, the usual deletes and fitting some silicone hoses. along with an 80mm MAF and pod filter. Forge DV008, catch can, new dipstick holder, new battery and boost gauge. Waiting on the resistor kit for the deletes coming from the good ol' US of A. Also got a set of Cupra R fuel injectors and a Bosch 4 bar fuel regulator which I'll fit just before the tune.

Fitted a Toyosport 2.5" stainless cat back, thankfully not as loud as the one on my mk1 Focus ST170, which quite frankly is embarrassingly loud on full chat:redcard: also fitted a set of Eibach pro sport lowering springs, only to strip one of the locking wheel bolts. Going to pop down to the garage that'll be doing the rolling road tune on it(he doesn't know yet) and see if he can get the locking bolt out and have a word about the tune. Bought a pair of Cupra R solid wishbones and new ball joints once the bolt is out. Next month and another week off will see the FMIC and decat pipe fitted and hopefully it will be ready for it's tune.

Nearly forgot about the Heko wind deflectors and Osram night breaker bulbs I fitted. Got rid of the LED one's as they are supposed to be becoming illegal for the new MOT coming in September, plus they were all cheap Chinesium ones that'll undoubtedly blow just at the wrong time.

I took it down to my local east European car wash now they've reopened. I felt a little guilty sitting there eating a double bacon and sausage sub while they did it. Gave them an extra couple of quid as they managed not to drool over the car lol.

Well, this was a little bit more involved than I was expecting the job to be, but at least I can tighten the nut for the armrest now.

Got my ancient windows XP laptop working, pulled the SKC from the car with an ancient VAG Commander 2.5 cable.
Here's hoping that I can use it to program a spare key for the immo3 immobiliser with VCDS.
Not going to hold my breath though.

I stripped a locking nut on mine. Wise old man told me “smash a 20mm socket over it”

It works

@iammooks Just the right time. I've been looking at fitting the later cupra bumpers for mine but wasn't really wanting to pay more than £17000 for the front one. :ROFLMAO:

@Sl1ced I tried whacking a 19mm multi point socket over the k-nackered locking wheel nut yesterday. It got a decent grip on it but ultimately span on it without releasing it. I'm going to have admit defeat and take it to a garage to get them to remove it.
