Yep for example the power steering cap broke due to age or the plastic, cheapest I could find was 30 quid without postage on there 6.50 quid the drivers control unit was another as the drivers window button failed I cleaned it inside and worked for a while, new unit just over 5 quid if you go on eBay it’s 5 times that and all from the same place..
Just ordered for the Tamiya cars I have , that bundle deals is class and here in 4 days,
Rattle (tinny sound) coming from front right-ish engine area while driving, happens mostly at 1500rpm in most gears.
Found the right undertray cover support loose with snapped spring clips, replaced these and test drive still rattling.
The 2 rear bolts were missing from either side supports so installed riv-nuts and secured the side supports and undertray.
Raging as it’s still rattling - hope it’s not my clutch starting to go

Hi mate, this kind of sounds like mine, and it was the 0 ring that had perished in the coolent flange into the head gear box side. It was the garage that noticed it when doing my clutch but it was tiny seap maybe it was evaporating with the heat from engine or gearbox casing.
Nam is right the prices are crazy and normally with you in 5 days they don't mess about now, my car was built in Spain but fixed by aliexpress lol
ive been paying lots of attention to that side, not seeing any drips, or any dye showing at all, i have just replaced this flange and oring on that side about 2 months ago, this was the state of the old one.... just been out again and the level is just under the max from me topping it up this morning to bang on max, only had a 10 mile run today. otherwise the car is great, no oil mixing with coolant and vice versa, head gasket tester says no combustion gases present.
cars still up on ramps right now so just went and had a look with the uv torch from above and underneath all around the gear cables, firewall and nothing, no traces of the flouresant dye and nothing wet, had a look inside in the footwells, all dry in there too.
Yeah mine was like that but with a fracture in the plastic flange, well like uou said hopefully a new cap will solve it bud as it sounds like you checked everywhere. Good luck bud

Update from Le Mans, well unfortunately it wasn’t good news for team Cupra R,
firstly i spun and went backwards into a barrier on Indianapolis corner resulting in a crack on the rear bumper ( don’t worry I have another shell exactly the same for any shows or events that I can park it along side mine at.)
Good speed though, smooth tarmac and great fun. Then things took a turn for the worse as my steering servo screw came out and lost all steering.
Easy fix but no screw driver on hand, so my lad completed the rest of the 9 mile circuit with the Laguna.
To be fair the locals were loving it being French an all. View attachment 49075

repair it with the same fibreglass two pack filler you use for car bodywork you can even get a two pack plastic fillerView attachment 49074
