lancashire.
Yeah, I would go for a DM also. LUK kit should be complete LUK set
Seems daft as it’s done same mileage as clutch it’s like doing a cambelt and not doing the water pump,
Was in garage today, they ether use LUK or sach, full sach kit with DM just of £1000 with vat fitted ..

not long after the intercooler cost I’m surprised Defibrillators have not been used on me lol

When i was getting the car ready for brands hatch. I noticed the subfram was going rusty. Only surface rust. View attachment 49566 So I pulled it out. Going to strip the arms View attachment 49568 . And sand blast the lot and repaint it. Even the antiroll bar has a bit of rust spots. View attachment 49567
Considering it's never been on the road this subframe. Its a few years old but "never used" if you know what I mean. Think I just going to do it black.. unless you lot other ideas

Can't believe you're getting rust already, especially without any use. Bad show for the company providing this expensive stuff. It's annoying for you that you effectively have to do more work to something which should have been adequately prepared & treated to give it a good life span. Fks me off that nearly everything is expensive but shoddy in someway. Black sounds perfect to me btw 👍

Spray them with a anti rust paint or a underseal spray

found a long standing hesitation problem yesterday, 3 exhaust manifold bolts finger tight, cranked them up and the car feels so much better, fuel trims are amazing after 50 miles on it today fluctuating between 0.7-1.5%, felt so smooth, i was over the moon, its took a year to get to the bottom of that problem and cost me around a grand in the parts cannon....... then on the way home the wife saw dripping from the front passenger footwell.....you guessed it, heater matrix leaking arghhhhhh f*** my life. started stripping it all out and got bored so will start again tomorrow, new matrix should come thursday.

its on 149k and yeah most of that got ripped out quickly, tomorrow ill be a bit more gentle and get the majority of it done, hopefully get the old matrix out just ready for new one to go in.

part number from seat is SEAT: 1J2819031A, SEAT: 1J2819031B, the part i bought is NRF 7614403RMP, was only £28 with next working day so not bad price wise, its the time it takes to do it is crazy. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/236101006424
