No updates as such but some photo hording, I have my new phone sop though it would be rude not to take some photos. Naturally I thought why not stick them up here.

Car's going for a stainless 3" from the turbo back with a race cat in early April, so should free up some more breathing, next will be a high flow manifold since there not that expensive.

Sorry for the photos thought Iwould share:

Looking nice buddy, so jealous of the spotless onvi yellow. Any plans for upping the bhp in the future? you still running the standard 180 + any gains from the breathing mods?

Lookin' fresssssh! I need to find a decent location to have a photoshoot.

That was my aim but it sort of failed, need to investigate further into new locations and better photo taking skills.

Alot of people say that, spotless is the wrong word due to stone chips but it's certainly fresh looking.

There sure are plans, all will be revealed in the near future when i decide exactley what i'm doing hybrid is one word i will mention. alot of other things to do 1st before that. Taking it one step at a time still learning how to drive the thing.

Standard 180 mate, plus that cai thing so far, been concentrating on handling.

Thanks for the comments guys.

How did the stickers turn out, will be refurbing my wheels soon?

Looking forward to seeing it progress mate. Stone chips are unavoidable unless you don't drive the thing and where would the fun be in that. Stickers yet to be used, getting some quotes to get the wheels refurbed in white next Saturday so should be soon. Ill be posting up some pics in a progression thread soonish!;)

Telln me, one way of avoiding them stay infron of everyone!

really neat work. Always liked the yellow

Thanks,

No update recently due to me enjoying the car and all my money going on fuel bills and bank balance recovering from previous mods, lol.

Well update but with no pictures too dark to take any, pictures to follow tomorrow.

Got a good deal on a turbo back milltek exhaust so that arrived this morning and was fitted tonight, the twin tail pipe design is growing on me still like the oval that the supersprint gave me.

First initial though is that the car is a lot more responsive and is definitely flowing better, sounds alot better too.

The comparison to the standard downpipe and the milltek is unbelievable, the standard looks like a bottle neck.

Catch tank is on order should be here within the week and I have started to refurb my wheels one at a time, the joys of having 5 alloy wheels and access to a shotblasting cabinet and a dad who can paint.

Nice one bud.
will be sounding mint aswell.
Have you seen the plastic coating you get called armourfend?

http://www.armourfend.com/process.aspx
I would be doing this to my car, if it didn't already have 20,000 stone chips, lol
Would deffinately fit it to my next car before getting any stone chips.
All the Exige/Elise's have this as standard

Should have got that done when the respray was done, just wasn't willing to pay that amount, wish i had now.

Picture time!

Random picture of my car that i like in my friends drive

Exhaust time - Well it was an utter b!tch to remove the old supersprint we had to jack the car up on the ramp! and drop the rear beam! -

The garage guy kept going on about this nitro air stuff to fill your tyres, saying that it stops the tyre expanding at high speeds?
Photo0110.jpg

Its called a nitro tower anyone heard of the stuff, thought it would be rude not to give it a go, got it for free aswell!

The exhaust fitted to the car, opinions please between the oval design and the twin milltek design?

My catch tank also arrived for the car, will get that fitted once new hoses come for it in black don't like that blue stuff, should brighten up the engine bay a tad -

Love the car mate, looking good as always. I liked the oval exhaust tip but I prefer the twin pipes coming out the back. Would be my choice.

How did you do the wheel centres?? Ive saw some carbon effect ones that Im thinking of putting on mine. I really like them and it would match the carbon effect vinyl etc I have on the car and the ones on my Oz's are looking tired and old with water getting underneath etc.

I think Im alittle biased with the twin pipes tbh .

I try to maintain my little 1.4 aswell. If I get the respray that Im thinking of/planning I will maintain it even more.

Had some fun this weekend with my rocker cover and the indecisiveness:confused:

So first of all removed the rocker cover -
Photo0126.jpg

Never did like the casting spikes and they served no purpose so off they come -
Photo0128.jpg

Then i though at this stage whether to put in all the effort and polish it, then I though nah need to go out on the piss and I remember how long the manifold and charge pipe took me -
Photo0132.jpg

Some high temp silver and numerous coats of lacquer later the results
Photo0133.jpg

Sorry for the crap night time photos just wanted them up here, the photos don't do the silver justice in comparison to the manifold and charge pipe.

No its called time management :p

Any time a seem to clean everyone elses cars, see a corroded tail pipe and i go and polish it for them, no idea why.

One clause in me cleaning your car, i get a a test drive to make sure everythings ok.

Me engine bays a mess just now just away to start tiyding it up and getting it all nice and shiney.
