Will ask allen for your number think hes in Oslo at the moment though.

Difference between the R and cupra -

red stitching on the steering wheel, gear lever gaiter and hand brake

seat sport seats (not got cupra writing all over)

red seat belts

'R' badges front and back, different wrinting on the back (the ibiza bit)

2 extra gauges for oil temp and voltage

brembos

16" super T's with seat sport on

bilstein suspension

wider stance

they are also numbered

A carbon insert on the engine cover

think thats about it.

They seem the boys never requested there services can't justify paying the money for an ibiza:redface: Good for some.

Think it was nearing the bad side of £400 can't really remember got to remember i prepd the car .

The 180bhp goes out the window when you remap the 156 cupra, a stone chip's cant be helped but hoping to keep it mint.

Me too jenk slowly learning all about this car stuff.

What djhorace said.
Will come along to a meet in March or after hopefully, to meet all you guys.

Well some more pictures for everyone with some little progress -

A picture of my wishbones and bushes from Martin M, I have stripped them down and repainted so hopefully to prevent rust for the time being. No before or during pic's i'm afraid

My cupra r badge has seen better days :(

P2090001.jpg

So red sticker stuff taken out

P2090005.jpg

Heres hoping i can get a red gel sticker made up the guy hates me now, always experimenting. if not i'm sure red paint will suffice.

Thinking of refurbing my wheels in ancanthricite (sp) opinions? as I painted my bumpstrips that colour myself when they were off the bumper for paint. Had these stickers made up for the super t's. was thinking yellow but think i will stick with the red. Opinions welcome again?

Looks braw!!

I've just done the same with my wish bones, nice to know its one other thing you don't have to worry about for years. Are these Seat wish bones or uprated ones. Obviously the bushes are uprated.
Are you planning on changing the front ARB while you do the wish bones?

What else are you doing handling wise?

I wanted a Ibiza Cupra R before I bought the LCR but was like hens teeth at the time and as you say even rarer now. Perfect motor, good size, good handling and good potential.

Junior - thinking of Neuspeed ARB's . 25mm front, 28mm back, hoping to save up enough cash for them before fitting the wishbones.

seat sport upper strut braces front, I have fitted my omp upper rear strutbrace,
Don't know if i should raise it some more and fit some rear spacers as spacers won't fit on at the current height.

Final set up should be -
Powerflexed bushes all round
Neuspeed ARB's . 25mm front, 28mm back
Strutbraces front and back, (think i have read somewhere about lower strutbraces?)
Its on coilovers can't remember make, came with the car.

Reuvers -

I'm going to be interested, toying with the idea of a cream rocker cover, not wanting to go for too much bling, some polished parts with painted parts. need to have a good think about it.

Also if anyone could measure where there cupra badge is in relation too there tailgate and rear lights i would be very thankful, forgot to measure before i took it off.
