Well i got back off holiday this morning, had a lovely time in tenerife apart from the 3 hour delay. But im home safe now. I came home and was greeted by a few new goodies. All my new brakes had turned up, CRN grooved disks with ferrodo DS2500 race pads all round and my new green cotton filter
Ive already fitted the new filter, perfect fit, just got to do the brakes in a bit as i cant drive the car atm as the brakes are grinding. Here are a few pics
Haha, hopefully not lol. But i have been told that these discs are very good and have had very good feedback on them. Discs and pads all round were £350 delivered mate
Cool, thats were the night life was most night. We went to the strip most nights which is called veronicas i believe. Nightlife was wicked I cant wait to get the backs fitted and give them a test, only done the fronts at the moment. Please excuse how dirty the wheels and car is, its been sat there for a week while ive been away, shes going to get a clean this afternoon
Yeah i remember the crows nest, we went to oasis's a couple of night and a proper night club on one other night. Most of nights we just chilled in different bars
I'd thought i would go out and do some final logs of my stage 1 map and see how its performing with all my mods, i got a max reading of 201g's which is equivalent to 261.3bhp roughly. Im going stage 2 tommorow so will let you know what it is like compared to stage 1
Well yesterday i had the stage 2 map done on my car aswell as new spark plugs and 4 bar FPR. In the graph below you can see the red line is the stage 1 map when i got it done back in june, the green line is from yesterday with all the mods ready for stage 2 still running the stage 1 remap. Then the brown line is the stage 2 remap. From just adding mods like fmic and decat exhaust when running a stage 1 map, i gained 40ftlb torque and it holds it a little bit better towards the red line. Well the stage 2 map has totally transformed the car, it holds boost loads better through out the rev range and when up in the higher rev in each gear there is just so much more pull, it just wants to keep going. The torque holds much better aswell and you can really feel it. On the dyno it made 268bhp and 291ftlb. Ben said the LCR's dont seem to dyno that well for some reason, but its a totally different car now with stage 2. I also did a couple of logs when i got home and got a reading of 212.9g's on a few runs which is equivalent to 276.7bhp
