I just keep my armbands and swimming goggles in the door pocket

Well, it was yesterday actually.
Took the car for a car wash as the hand car washes are all shut at the moment.
This morning at about 5.30, after a frosty night i get into my car.
No dampness/condensation and all the electrics worked!
It is a MK1 Leon honest.
I'm not even joking when I say I'm genuinely thrilled to hear that.
I've had a fair bit of moisture on the windscreen recently - enough to soak the microfibre cloth I keep in the car - but then so do a lot of the cars on my street, and newer ones than mine.
In the past, my butyl tape jobs have been done with the door skin on the car, but I'll at least take the driver's door out over the summer (or when it's warm and dry again and do the seal again, just to be sure.
I always have a problem with residue from the old seals, which might be an issue getting a really tight seal, so I'm guessing WD40 and then IPA to get it all super clean.

Nice colour.
What can you do with it?

Its all come from constant repairs to be honest. Both front door catches, nsf regulator and osr door catch.
Not forgetting water getting in through the bulkhead causing mayhem with the electrics.
Used butyl tape (10mm i think) on all repairs.
Ive only had the car since last February!
Still doing the damp doorstep challenge on the nsf though.
I wonder if Golfs and A3s suffer the same.
Okay - LCR has been sat outside unstarted for about 11 days now.....
1. Will it start ?
2. Is it full of water ?
3. It wont start and is full of water ?
Whaddya all think ?
1 yes
2 no
