So am i
going to try and get it fitted friday. They take the pi55 abit dont they. Got sent out this morning to be delivered and no sign of any delivery by 6, local depot shuts at 7, so i went up there at 6.45, they said wait around as the courier was due back. It came back with the parcel still on board as it hadnt been delivered. Oh well its here now hehe 
So Brad why purple hoses? do they go with colour car?

Well i had the 3" downpipe and decat fitted by AmD today. Sounds a bit deeper and growls more which I like tbh I couldn't really give it any stick cause there was loads of traffic coming home. But I'll give it some stick tomorrow and see what it is like
Also that's all stage 2 mods done now, next step is tarting up the bay a bit and improve things. I've seen people talking about 3" tips so I'm tempted by this next

Some 1/4 mile action @ Pod
Well after owning the car for 9 months now and it being stage 2 i thought i'd take it to Pod to see what 1/4 mile times it can do. Loads of mates saying i wouldnt get below 14.5 and wouldnt even come close to 13's. I would of been happy to get into the low 14's, but to get into the 13's would of been a big bonus. Arrived at Pod at 10 this morning and didnt get my first run in till just gone 12. After giving it some up the strip, one of my mates told me i did a 14.1@101mph. I was chuffed with that considering it was the first run of the day. My mates were gobsmacked. I was thinking it can only get better so off i went to que again and an hour later i was at the lights again. Nervous as i was i now had my heart set on getting into the 13's. The lights went green and i managed to control it without hardly any spin in 1st and i was off, got into 2nd and total grip, i knew in my head i had a good start but was it good enough to break into the 13's. I got back and my mate couldnt believe it either, he said i got a 13.92@103mph. I didnt believe him either and went to get my slip. I was amazed when i saw the slip and so chuffed it was unreal. I think im one of very few stage 2 LCR's to break into the 13's

That was a good 13.92s time Brad I saw your 1st run, 14.5s is about right for a stage 2, its the 4x4 k04-023 1.8Ts which tend the bust the 13s mark at the pod. I wanted to run my lcr but the clutch was slipping on the way up.
I was shocked by the r tech mapped Golf AUM making 13.8s with such a small turbo, I thought it was all bullcrap and hype when it ran a 15.1s..pmsl, but 100% gob smacked when it went on to do a the 13.8s., its got to be one of the fastest 1.8Ts around not running a k04-023.
What are your plans for more power and getting deeper into the 13.s? Water meth? hybrid turbo or both?

well happy for you mate, got good 1/4 mile time which reflects the true pace of your car, something of which alot of fwd cars struggle with!

Cheers, i was pretty pleased with the time too! Yeah that golf did a good time, basically running a K03 hybrid and its lighter too. But im still chuffed with getting into the 13's

No its only a k04-001 not a hybrid, the they got it from the same place as my last turbo Backdraft motorsport. I just been reading and the k04-001 is only good for around another 10bhp more than the k03s no where near the power of our k04-023s.
