Seriously though, you'll just end up spending a fortune on the jetta then upgrading to an LCR later on, better off trying to stick it out imo

Then i guess that makes me a hypocrite since I've never looked back, but i reckon you might miss driver involvement if you get a diesel jetta. Its all about revs and handling for me.

See I am all about the looks. I can't do anythin to the cupra r without. I don't really drive it hard to be fair to miss that. Never done track days or anything with it. Just keep it looking pretty lol. Been offered a swap with a anniversary golf gttdi that's got bbs lm and slammed on coilovers etc etc but it's got 100k on the clock and I worry a bit lol. Just really torn on this one

Keep the LCR - sounds like you would miss it way too much. Plus LCR just that bit more special over a gttdi. Thats my thought anyway.

When did you get the car? If you haven't had it that long, keep it. I've been thinking of changing myself, but with all of the work I've put into it to make it 'my' car, I don't really want to let it go. But then I guess I started in the position you're looking to be in - having a car with much less running costs.

And don't worry about TDi engines with 100Ks on the clock. Mine's got 95K on it at the time of writing, and it's loosening up just nicely now! Seriously though, they're good for 1/4 million easily.

Right scrap that changed my mind again. Got some plans for next years show what I am gonna do to make it different but first I need some help. I have a coulpe of bushes gone on the fro t that need fixing. Is there a kit to change all the front to updated ones? Plus may change the arb on the front while I am at it? Any suggestions peeps?

Awesome are doing a group buy on Neuspeed ARB's, think its till the end of June.

Think you've made the right decision to keep it mate, i reckon you would have regretted it if you had let it go. Car looks awesome on the leggras too!

well done for keeping it i was in same boat mate was going to get rid of mine but you dont see that meny round here. as for the front bushs you could go down the poly bush route but thats up to you they are stiff bushs. ive just done all the front arm bushes and 2 new ball joints. i just got the audi tt bushes and it as transformed the car totaly .

R32 front ARB is good and only £100, I would get the rear one at the same time though, I had the Neuspeed 28mm rear one on mine and it was sweet.

Where can I get bushes from or will just replacigthem with standard ones be ok? They aren't all gone think it's just a wishbone one and a arb one. Plus if I am parking on a steep hill and put my hand brake on it start beeping and the ! Flashes at me, also does this when I go round a sharp right hand bend orround about a bit sharpish???? Any ideas?????

get them from any were the bushs mate and for the handbrake not sure then u say it does it when you go round corners i thought fluid level low but not sure

No it's just had a service so I doubt that. Are there sencors on the rear brakes that may be playin up? I have been rackin my brains and I can't think of anything. Thus is really buggin me to now

Well I have got some good ideas that I am gonna do for the car ready for next years shows. I am gonna try and keep it under wraps till it is done but knowing me it won't last lol

I can't not yet. It will be done mid September as I go on holiday and leave it with the people to do while I'm away. I feel maybe it's not gonna b some peoples taste but it's gonna b different.

I have done a sketch up of what my plans are on forza 3 so I will try and get it from my x box to the computer and upload it. Think it's gonna look awsome but there may be a few people on here that may not like it.

Basically I am having my wheels painted gloss black with a White lip, the "S" badges gloss black and the surrounding plastic White, then I am having a White vinyl roof and spoiler with a black seat logo on the rear right hand corner cutting across.

Just thought it would b different. What do u guys reckon?
