In case anyone was wondering here's how the engine and transmission were supported whilst the subframe was off:
As a side note I have genuine replacement
stickers for my front panel. I took them off as it was going to be replaced!
With the subframe back I then began building it back up on the bench so I could then fit it complete. Also blasted/powder coated at the same time as the subframe were the original balance/weight block and a previously purchased NEW Genuine standard ARB. The corrosion was so bad on the original ARB that the its diameter had been significantly reduced in areas.
Before I started I sprayed the inside of the subframe with cavity wax using the extension to try and reach every surface.
Every bolt, bracket, washer, rubber bush, both droplinks and both engine mounts are NEW genuine parts ordered/purchased from my local TPS, SEAT dealer or Sere Motors - NI on here (Thanks Dave again! - top customer service).
