I bought the Calipers/Carriers from the edition38 forum. The seller had them refurbished by an engineer local to them using NEW parts as they were able to offer this type of zinc coating which is a bit more durable than the norm.

In case anyone was wondering here's how the engine and transmission were supported whilst the subframe was off:
As a side note I have genuine replacement stickers for my front panel. I took them off as it was going to be replaced!
With the subframe back I then began building it back up on the bench so I could then fit it complete. Also blasted/powder coated at the same time as the subframe were the original balance/weight block and a previously purchased NEW Genuine standard ARB. The corrosion was so bad on the original ARB that the its diameter had been significantly reduced in areas.
Before I started I sprayed the inside of the subframe with cavity wax using the extension to try and reach every surface.
Every bolt, bracket, washer, rubber bush, both droplinks and both engine mounts are NEW genuine parts ordered/purchased from my local TPS, SEAT dealer or Sere Motors - NI on here (Thanks Dave again! - top customer service).
Heres some pictures prior to re-fitting (spot the school boy error with the droplinks - rectified later):

The plans are to repair/paint visible rust on the driveshafts and track rods in situ though I will will remove/blast/powdercoat the hub carriers later when I replace the springs and shocks.
The rear beam may also receive an overhaul to match the front.
Overall my car has been off the road for three and a half months while I've done this work!
Not helped by the weather as its all been done outside on the drive!
It went for another MOT last week! - PASSED without a single advisory! - this mission accomplished!

I absolutely love this car, the fact that it is so clean and looks like it has just left the factory. 
. Even under the arches is so clean.
Do you know if you are still able to get the genuine stickers for the front panel?? I want to remove mine and paint it again but dont want to lose the stickers. Also may have to look into a standard arb, how much did it cost??

I was able to order the black fan warning sticker - the repsol sticker was never available as a part IIRC. though I have re-created artwork for it.
I told that repsol filters were a bit inferior so I plan to use my JR filter sticker thats of similar size. IIRC (need to check) the ARB was £40 approx.

I had been planning for a suspension overhaul and had started purchasing/hoarding many components/parts with the idea doing it all in one go in the summer!. After failing the MOT I only wanted to replace the wishbones which I had ready as the weather/timing was rubbish!, but once the pivot bolts rounded and the subframe had to come out it was a slippery slope to where its at now. I've persevered with my OCD philosophy of if it has to be removed/replaced its to a near to new standard with a few upgrades along the way!.
At least now hopefully none of this work will have to be repeated for many years!
Ideally I would have had the hub carriers refurbished/powder coated at this time but I neglected to loosen the driveshaft nut before I put it on axle stands and removed the subframe.
Still have fr+Rr top mounts, springs and shocks to replace and also the rear beam and hub carriers to overhaul. Will also treat the rust on the driveshaft/track rod ends.
More progress will follow!

Another update:
After this mini overhaul and as I'd never had it done I took the car to have a Hunter 4 wheel laser alignment/camber check/adjustment at TTS Roadsport in Bedford.
Felt my car looked a bit out of place in the workshop! - surrounded by lots of very nice TT's
At least everything is pointing in the correct direction!
I have to say it does feel a lot better and it seems I don't have to fight it so much.
Overall quite pleased!

Finally got round to cleaning and oiling my JR panel filter this weekend!
Thought I'd try the drilled airbox modification to provide some more air. The jury's out on this one but as I had bought a spare airbox I decided to give it a try - I can always revert back.
I'd achieved descent 1/4 mile times at inters with the standard setup with a paper filter so we'll see! - just as long as there's no negative effects!
I went for 15 x 16mm holes and also reduced the length of the conical tube in the base but otherwise left everything else standard.

I like the centre gauges a lot!
I do need to finish this suspension overhaul though and it hasn't been cheap so far!

Quick question mate, I was wondering where you'd got a few various parts from whilst reading through this thread. Where did you get the brake dust surrounds from? (not sure of their names!)
