So is your high beam a seperate bulb or just the one?
Yeah i can imagine, i havent driven in the dark with them yet but im expecting some flashing! ill just give them a taste of HID high beam!

My high beam is a separate bulb, its a smaller one at the side of the hid. It dont bother me about the flashing, I just flash back then they see Im on low beam.

Hids look good mate, although I think your headlights need aligned abit looking at the pics.

Ah right, you just need a seperate set of hids for the main beam then.

really like what you've done there! been thinking about the suspension & strut braces for a while and am gonna go down that route in the next few months. i've got a 1600 & was thinking about basic power gains, poss upgrade of spark plugs (already got panel filter in). Not going to go down the turbo route as there would need to be a huge amount of work done on the engine to support it.

also thinking about some Cupra seats & alloys (or BBS poss). i like the debadging but i can't CC the black trim (skirts & bumper) without it looking tacky in red.

Cheers mate. Good good, very little point doing performance stuff to mine, and not really much gains out there for yours that'd be worth the money either

The bumper can be done in red, see markmeus's car. looks great.

Not much to do to it performance wise. Maybe some better panel filters and a cold air feed? wont do much though.

Wheels wise IMO i wouldnt go bigger than 16", i think they look too big in 17" and to be honest you'll probably loose a bit of tourque due to a larger rolling radius.

Good luck with it all though, they'r great little cars!

once you pull the grill out, use a flathead to knock the plastic welds off the inside and then push hard! careful not to snap the grill though!

once you pull the grill out, use a flathead to knock the plastic welds off the inside and then push hard! careful not to snap the grill though!

Small Update!

Gave it a good detail on wednesday and thursday and took it out to get some nice pics, some good ones of the HIDs and of it without side strips.

All done with a cheap point and shoot and a tripod.

Also hooked up a CAI from the hole in the bumper

Filthy bay i know!


Also did have some green filters to put in but returning them to save money for the new wheels ive bought

Hi, have you got any pics showing the modification to the bottom of the front bumper? I think a stone has flicked up and hit mine because I've got a strange hole through one of the sections, so I'm interested in what it looks like with them completely cut out.

Mate, didn't you see mine at Gillingham? IMO, looks great, should've come out of the factory like it, instead of how it is stock
