Today was day 1 of the instal and tbh it has gone bad so far!

Started by removing my old cat back exhaust only to find out someone previous has had the back box welded to the centre which made it impossible to remove due to the rear beam..

Managed to break the weld though and 3.5 hours later it was off!!

Hopes went high then

Stripped all the engine bay apart, tip, charge pipe etc all removed

Then i got to the downpipe/cat

Nuts on the downpipe are literally solid, ive managed to get 1 off and 3 others are moving slowly but just need alot of time and patience to get off

Cant even find a decent enough tool which is going to remove these tbh

Ive now soaked them all in WD40 and im leaving it for the night

Day 2

Managed to get the downpipe off today after a night of bathing in WD40

Old turbo came off next which was an absolute arse!!

Managed to fit the new turbo into position and refitted the 2 water lines and the oil feed line too so good progress today :)

Tomorrows plan is just tighten the turbo up to the manifold
Refit the oil return line

Fit downpipe and exhaust system

Then i need to put in new oil and coolant as it was all drained today

Should be complete tomorrow

I have load of pics to update this later :)

Pics should be up tonight:)

In the mean time im now hunting down a new rear bumper

The exhaust recess had been cut quite alot to take the powerflow so now the Blueflame looks annoying sat in such a large gap!

Downpipe comparison

One of my engine in bits

One when we finally got the turbo past the manifold!
Hardest part was lining it up with the bolt holes after connecting the lines

IMG_0071.jpg

And one of the downpipe and turbo fitted
Theres not alot of space there now
3" downpipe was easier to do than the standard imo, much better design

Ill upload the rest when i have them

I have some pics of all the parts we removed too, almost got lost when putting it back together lol

It is lol when it works ha

Theres definately a noticeable difference, most i think will be the 3" downpipe
