What's over boosting?

Well i suppose over boosting is different to what mine is.

I just mean basically boost spiking and boosting more than it should

I think it will change when its mapped but i touch the throttle lightly and the boost gauge rockets up to 18psi and its quite violent feeling really.

Ill never really know till the mapping on Wednesday but i think my current map is a bit out of control lol

Its not getting mapped until wednesday so im not sure on that

Theres definately a difference from fitting the turbo and downpipe alone

Update.

Went to Jabbasport yesterday for the mapping and a cambelt/pump change

After nearly 5 hour journey due to 2 seperate accidents on the A14 i finally finished the 60 mile trip lol

Big thanks to Jabba who managed to get my car custom mapped and the cambelt etc changed in a little over 5 hours!

Car ran 232@fly and with 260 lbs

Ive been told i may have a slight boost leak coming from the intercooler itself as it has been dented along the bottom pretty badly so ill be getting a new intercooler very soon!

Car runs absolutely awesome now, get a real kick in the arse when the boost builds lol

Yer i am happy with the figures

He reckons the boost leak could have been effecting them though, he could hear it but couldnt find it so thinks it maybe the intercooler itself.

Going to get a new one now and hope it solves it

Loving how well the boost holds through the revs too, got a nice 22psi now

Today when hitting full boost its been judering and hesitating, sounds like a scooby lol
