I was thinking of fitting two open cone filters as they're cheap enough? I'd use a Y duct pipe. Got a 70mm pipe in the shed.

lol just to maximise the air flow by probs not necessary, see how I get on with a single open cone. Same one as when mapped.

No to forge on the intercooler will look poo seeing as you haven't got a forge fmic mines sprayed black hidden and it's forge , spray e bay on it in e bay colours

I think you should do it lol will look well cool , I made my own template up , printed letters out on the comp transfered it to cardboard and sprayed ,

Fitted the new open cone today, and well wow, sounds LOADS better, the recirc is as it should sound now. The enclosed filter must have muffled it somehow.

Haven't driven it yet but I will tomorrow

The enclosed filter is errrrrr enclosed so no sound escapes
