I originally went straight from the inlet mani (where the N249 used to connect to) to the DV, using a 4mm internal diameter silicone vacuum hose. When I noticed it made a funny noise going from part boost to off boost I wondered if maybe the silicone hose was collapsing under vacuum so I undid the bypass, connecting the 4mm hose to the N249 and using a piece of 5mm hose to go from N249 to the DV.
I decided to try it again so used an elbow joint to connect the 4mm hose to the 5mm hose but it still makes the same noise. Still not sure the car feels any better with the bypass in place either. I've read threads where people have said their car doesn't like the bypass, maybe mine is just one of those. Apart from a slightly worrying noise when dumping at part revs I didn't notice things were any better with the bypass so I think I'll just put it back.
One other thing on my car, I'm not using the 007p Forge valve, I've got the new DV008. I'll try my old 007p and see if the same noise happens with the bypass.
Lee, did you blank off the second nipple on the intake mani since you T'd into the FPR feed for your bypass?
