I sprayed the badge myself. The chrome 'S' pops out leaving behind the bits that I painted red. Maybe I should start selling them!

just read your whole thread aswell. jaysus youre creative when it comes to moddin your car. i really like the exterior lights on the door handles but prob wouldnt work for the back on a 5 door.
i know it was a good while ago but just wondering what you used to spray your wing mirrors gloss black? did you have to remove them to paint them?

2 options with the gloss mirrors... either buy them from SEAT like that (as they are Cupra mirrors) or you have to remove them to spray them that way. If you bend the mirror in and start from the hinged end, you can prize the covers off. You may have to use more force than you feel is good, but they will pop off! I did this but painted mine matte black...
Yes, can of grey primer and can of matte black! Quck run down with some wet'n'dry fine grit paper, two or three coats of primer and the same with the paint! Looks good. Have a look in my readers ride thread for more ideas!

You could wire up LEDs to the rear door handles....just be double the work!

this lighting idea has me intrigued, but in the long run the door handles will be smoothed off anyways so might make make a puddle light where the reflectors are in the front doors. Keep up the good work though, if I want to see some nice new ideas, I just have a thumb through your thread

All in it cost about £8. Very cheap mod but just fiddly to do

I thought about trying to fit the interior door light from a Golf...not sure if they are the right shape though
