Chinese turbine housing.
*check the threads are full depth vs the bolts which will go into them*
*check what pressure the actuator arm start to open at* - with std KKK actuator it would be 5psi, which will not be sufficient to cope with the "overported" wastegate. It will blow open.

Inconsistent as ever!

Yes I was looking at your k04 hybrid highflow thread and it seems thats what they use these days. They did send me 2 sets of studs with the turbo and one set does look shorter.

As for the wastegate its a new standard kkk one. What actuator pressure do you recommend for these turbos? It did have me a bit worried tbh.

as I said - check what pressure it cracks open at

no less than 12psi, else the gate wont stay closed when ported so large as that

Ill check it tonight but I am confident its going to be less than 12psi.
I think I may get a 1 bar actuator then from CR or is that a bit overkill and make it harder to map?

Happy days if they do then. I managed to sell mine to someone doing a 1.8 Zetec conversion on a KA lol

Do they fit the zetec lumps? KA! waste of time haha should be pretty nippy though. A lot of people put the the 1.6rst lumps in them too. I think a well setup zetec on ITB's would be more fun though.

Could anyone tell me if 440cc injectors will be ok for my setup? or shall I concider 550's?

I would always go bigger, it allows scope for 4 bar FPR and future developement. Not sure what sort of duty cycle there is on your set up. Ask your mapper and also find out if there are brands you should avoid. Siemens Dekka are quite good ones because they're made by Bosch so keeps ECU happy.

Yeah I suppose it doesnt matter if they are too big, I was going to get Bosch 52LB / 550cc Hi Impedance Injectors anyway so it shouldnt be a problem re the ecu.

Still confirm with your mapper though as 550 might flood your engine. FPR Injectors and ECU (map) control fuelling so if 3 bar is what ECU says fuel pressure should be then it will do just that. The flow rate of different sized the injectors will vary depending on what they are rated to. In other words 500's will flow more at 3bar than 440's.

ecu does'nt control fuel pressure

550's used in the k04 hybrids I have done. genesis and bosch, both worked ok

550's @ 3bar? or 4?

Im also getting abit worried about the surging issue with these turbos.. Mine only has a standard turbine wheel, is this going to be too small for the k06 compressor?
