Looks good, but not keen on the boot badging on the pics at the top of the thread. Having seen yours in the same colour as mine I reckon the splitter is the next thing for my car too.

I still can't decide whether I like the FR badge on the boot or not but I don't hate it so it can stay for now. I think it looks better than standard and I don't want to completely debadge so I think it's the best solution. However I am thinking about getting a vinyl SEAT Sport decal made up to put on instead.

Yeah you should definitely get a splitter, it makes the front look much more aggressive I think, and it's less than £20 to do :)

Bad news! My car has been bumped this evening :(

It was parked outside a mates house and some idiot from over the road hit it whilst reversing off his drive [:@] He said he didn't see it "because it was dark", what a tool! Some people shouldn't be allowed to drive. It was on the opposite side of the road and half on the pavement in a quiet cul-de-sac!

So the result is a huge dent in the driver's side front wing, a smashed indicator and a scratch on the driver door. I suppose the good thing is at least I got all his insurance details etc., but I'm just so angry that someone could be so incompetent and damage my pride and joy :(

Oh and of course his car came off with just a scuff on the bumper and tail light!

A few pics showing the damage:

That's rough mate. Some people are total muppets, but you have to look on the bright side...... you can probably get any stone chips done and other "bad" bits done whilst its in for repair I s'pose. As you said, at least you got the insurance details.

Yeah absolute muppets! Hmm yes I might enquire about a few minor paintwork touch-ups...

Well it's booked in for repair next Monday now at least, all getting paid for through his insurance hopefully and I haven't had to pay my excess. Just hope it all goes through OK and he doesn't try to contest it, although I don't see how he can TBH seeing as it was a parked car he hit!

Damn, fingers crossed for you there mate, cant believe that can happen. "It was dark" - well, that means you'll have your lights on and lets face it, most things show up in reverse light... Tool. Still, silver lining and all that - hope it comes out better than before!

Yeah cheers man. I've had time to get over the anger of it all now and I'm just glad he was decent enough to give me his details and just hoping it all goes OK.

I hate driving around with a big dent in my car though, everyone must think I'm a terrible driver lol!

Good news, the car has been fixed :) New wing, side repeater, arch liner and headlight (got damaged being removed so they slapped a new one on). The insurance claim went through fine, no dispute to the liability, so everything turned out OK in the end :)

Loving the pics of your car mate :D

Did the Cupra R splitter fit straight on ? and where did you get your wind deflectors from ?. I wanted to get some but wasnt sure how they would look, now ive seen them i think it really suites the car. I was after some smoked wind defelctors then tint the rear windows so it all matches.

Cheers mate :D

The Cupra R splitter fits more or less straight on, but there are two pillars/clips in the middle (see pic) that are a bit too tall, but they are easily chopped down with a stanley knife, then you just have to screw the splitter into the bumper (I think it clips on to the Cupra R bumper without screws).

These are the wind deflectors I got (from seller eternalcar), they are the decent Heko ones. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/SEAT-LEON-4-5...arts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM?hash=item2e9f64ead9
Yeah they would look really good with smoked windows to match.
