Defo needs lowering mate, with the wheels painted just doesnt look right

Yeah, sometimes I look at it and think why the heck do I need to lower it, looks so nice and other times I hatch a glimpse and think it really needs it. IMO, the car looks different in reality to the pics so i'll have to get to the next London meet for some feed back.

Why not try a subtle drop jay on eibach's? They onlow lowwer arround 15mm and should make it look that much better Now winter is coming up you will benifit of HID's.

As far as I know, the LC is 10mm lower than a standard Leon and the LCR is 15mm lower...or 20mm lower? So to get a 15mm or 20mm drop, I would need 30mm or 40mm springs?
I do like the 50mm kit Phil has on his though, not sure coilovers are for me. I had them on an old track prepped Civic which handled better than anything i've ever driven but some days I did used to get in to it and get hump with the constantly harsh ride.

Noo, from what i know the cupra is arround 10mm lower, then the R is 5 - 7mm lower than the cupra, so 30mm works out at arround 15mm lower, 40 = 25mm lower, 45 is 30mm lower, and 50 is 35mm lower.
Ahhh I see, nice break down, thanks for that. I understand that when lowering an LCR, the back sits around 5mm lower than the front. Would it be worth getting 30mm for the front and 25mm at the back? I know the difference is negligable but that extra 5mm would annoy me, I need it level.
Your cars gorgeous mate...love the colour and was going to get mine in ovni yellow...but ive seen a couple of examples that are pretty badly faded and looks terrible but yours looks great! im jealous lol im not sure what colour to get now,either the yellow or metallic grey

Also the eibach springs are very good quality and give the same if not better ride quality than standard, and you wont have to change shockers with them unless there past it.
Hoggy, yellow is either a love or hate colour. I wasn't keen on the idea before I bought the car but as soon as I saw it in the flesh, I was sold. I wanted black but as you can imagine, it's the most popular colour and most examples were completely shagged, stone chipped or had excessive miles on them. I picked mine up with 19k on the clock for £1k under book price so I did gooooood and I have never had a negative comment made against it, certainly not when I hammer the accelerator .
There are a number of good examples out there that aren't faded so badly at all so just keep looking. If the first person who bought the car genuinely loved it, then they would have protected the paint from day 1.
I saw those Shauny, look very tempting or if I wanted to go lower, then KW offer a 40/30mm kit I think. I would upgrade the shocks though to tighten it up some more as I hate the OEM ones. I can't find a place that sells shocks on their own for LCRs though, DPM's are only for the LC.

It actually came in at £1200 in the end which wasn't bad at all, I've builT up quite a rapour with my sprayer with all the little bits me and friends have had him do. Still, i'd rather SEAT just used good paint to begin with and then i'd have been able to get an FMIC and TBE for that money!
I can't wait to start putting some other touches on it now, I feel motivated to get it better seeing as it's probably one of the freshest looking Ovni Yellow LCRs in the U.K at the mo...well I hope so.

The Weitech shocks I have will fit the LCR they have the ARB mounts on them, and you can buy them on their own without springs, it’s a shame I don’t live nearer you, as I would let you have a drive of my car, the set up is very good, nice and firm but still retaining good damping over everything except big holes, I am very pleased with it.
