Thanks for the comments you two. I am looking very forward to fitting the TIP now as I'll have a direct comparison to make between both because no other mods will be done at the same time, I don't expect the cat-back to make any difference apart from noise perhaps.
I contacted PipeWerx who were happy to do the work but unlike their 3" DP & Sports Cat which I have, they don't ship out Cat-Back systems and will only do the work if I drive there which is too far. I'll try Blueflame again today but it's boiling down to LongLife, Hayward & Scott have also ignored me.
My insurer just got back to me and dropped the original quote by £400, funny that. It's £10 more expensive than the competition but my current one is a mod-friendly company with like for like replacement where as the other is not so I guess in the grand scheme of things, what's £10.
Once the above are done then it's FMIC time and Stage 2. I will be going for the Forge kit I think, for ease of fitment more than anything else. It will also give me more scope to upgrade to BT than the TX kit I feel, isn't the Forge rated to 400bhp? If not then I might have to go for the Big Race Kit.
Im seriously considering BT, especially after spending more time over on the Audi Forums where it's more popular. I'm realistic, the car will never be good at lauching but then again I never launch hard anyway, it'll be an animal even so but this is the LAST thing, engine mounts and ARBs come first.
