Few new things to fit

First off a stack Wideband gauge kit

This looks a neat bit of kit, AFR and Lambda displays plus abilities to log the data etc

Just been out for a blast and it actually feels alot better

Its almost like before it was kind of sluggish as it now seems to pull better on boost

Hopefully this was my problem fingers crossed

Sounds good too, never had so many pops and bangs letting off throttle before lol

well I havent personally tried it myself but I have heard disconnecting it does work.. not sure how long you have to leave it disconnected for though..

Out of interest how much did all your piping for you intercooler cost you in total?

Might give it a go and see what happens, 10 mins is enough iirc

The pipework kit was about £70 from ebay

Everything together including the pipework, intercooler, forge map tube, t-bolt clamps, washer bottle etc etc came to around £280

I'd leave it for as long as possible just to be safe.

Cheers, Im thinking of having the same setup just with the 3" cooler but use 2.5" pipework.

Well worth the money mate imo

These coolers are rated upto 450bhp iirc, i think philw is using the 3" version, bit of a tighter fit as the are 80mm thick

Just fitted mine too mate, pulls alot better all the way through the rev range dont it. And also getting a few pops and bangs on the initial overrun too.

Im gunna do some logs and see if its made any difference.. (probably not haha!)

Also got the same problem with the guage not working :(
