How much was the wheel refurb at Chameleon?

How good is the finish? Heard a lot of bad reports, which is why I went with the wheel specialist (and have since heard a lot of bad reports about them

Never heard a bad report about chameleon, my opinion is don't count though as there friends of mine.
Now had two sets done by them and seen many more and have to say they all look great.

I've had half a dozen bad reports in the last week. But tbh, had the same about the wheel specialist. I've used kilmarnock powder coaters, and carrick engineering in prestwick and while they do a great job, their timescales are hopeless. It seems to me that theres a big gap in the wheel refurbishing market.
Never heard a bad word about Chameleon bud as for the wheel specialist i started to hear a few rumours about them that got me worried thats why i swapped to Chameleon! How long should powder coating last for if you take good care of the wheels ive been thinking of buying some of this to keep them in good nick Chemical Guys Wheel Guard?
I think it seems to be hit and miss with all the places. Powder coating should last longer than the rest of the car TBH. We get a 25 year guarantee with our powder coated stuff at work.
I wouldn;t bother with a specific wheel sealant though. Just wax them as you would the rest of the car.
Will try that then bud ive got some Meguirs wax sitting around somewhere
I use Meguiars #16 wax. Awesome wax for the price. Just be careful how you clean the wheels. Most wheel cleaners will be fine on powdercoat but it'll strip the wax back off
Nice mate! Is it the usual Halfrauds rubber bung in there now? I would like to do this mod but I do use the wiper...

as i said the other night i just cant loose the rear wiper as i use it all the time, roads are manc here with all the building works and farm traffic.

Since losing my job i have had nothing to do but clean the car and not drive it so got some photos of how she stands right now
