Ive not actually had it RR yet mate due to the blowing manifold once i get that sorted i will get it dyno'd!

It was a guy called Richard Weir that mapped mine unfortunately he stays on the Isle of man! He was coming over to do a few cars for a good price and hes really into his VAG cars so decided to go with him. Says if i ever change turbo or go hybrid he will charge me an hourly rate rather than a whole new map which is good.

Got some braided hoses for the car i hope to have these on once the manifold gets sorted which should be around 3 weeks i hope! Also got some Nord Lock washers for the turbo to ensure nothing comes loose this time!

Got them for £53 but thats 10% off untill the end of september so they are usually £59, i think im going for some uprated brake fluid aswell although im unsure if its worth the extra £££

They are so good compared to standard ones, id see about putting them on your insurance, on some instances they can make it cheaper...

Well my OEM exhaust manifold turned up today really cant wait to get it back onto the car. My first glance at it i could already see the difference of the porting. Unfortunately i dont ahve any rolling road results of the car before the porting so i cant give a figure increase but i will be getting it done shortly and will put the results up :)

Heres a picture from the phone

I also got some new turbo to manifold bolts off Bill and i have some nord-lock washers. Im just taking every precaution this time to avoid any leaks or bolts coming loose i just want the car running healthy again

The porting was made in the runners i suppose?

They are now bigger or the internal surface is just smoother?

How much did that cost you?

Looking good !

pictures of the difference I posted in my section to make it obvious what the porting differences are:
here>> http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/showthread.php?t=274034

Port runners out of head left untouched.. they are big enough for k0x turbos as is. work done was opening up the 2 restrictive runners on #2 in particular, and reworking the collector area to enlarge, drop the height down of the flow splitter, etc etc

the pictures make the differences obvious.
Using ported OE manifold on K03/4 hybrid netted the exact same mass airflow, n75 duty cycle, boost as all of the "hi-flow" ones sold... but with OE reliability and fitment.

Oe can crack also.. as is apparent on MrsB manifold shown as comparison. It tooks several years and being ragged rotten by me however to manage this.
