looks like you have a gold flake paint job!:cartman:

gold flake would be rancid.lol

all sorted,coilpack had gone.

had the remap done and on for a few weeks now and really impressed, still seeing average of 330miles to a tank which im happy with

I NEED TO DO A BIG DETAIL!i have no time at the moment :(

no pics at the moment but had a bit of service work done

needed 2 new front tyres
front tracking
all 4 balanced
and had delphi rear pads fitted

now have to sort my mot out and need some ferodo ds2500 pads
got a price of £118.50 delivered by auto nation and will be with me next week, just got to find the time to fit them.
if anyone wants to order them as thats the cheapest ive seen let me know and ill pass on details.

also received my new airbox and gonna do my custom box

matt

going to be getting an open filter as i want some noise but shall be using the second box to fabricate a shield for it,ill have my original to put it back to standard with

matt

gave up on the filter idea as i wasnt impressed with the sound

not updated this for a while as ive been busy but im keeping myself this week to get a few things done.

So far:

-changed the interior lights for LED bulbs (and glovebox)
-fitted a parrot ck3100 as i decided i needed to know who was calling me (mic in OEM position)
-removed the drinks holder and going to mount a blank button 2 seat ck3100
-bought and fitted a carbon fibre seat sport gearknob
-dynamatted both front doors
-removed cd changer (fed up of having nothing for a glovebox)
-removed old satnav cable and fitted to centre vent area
-removed centre air vent

then the airbag light has oddly come on even though airbag connector to glovebox wasnt disconnected but i needed to buy some diagnostic equipment for the business so just bought it a bit sooner than i was going to.Ill get that cleared when it gets here.

after cutting of central part to leave room for satnav

will be using a replacement centre airvent so i can put mine back in when it goes back to standard, going to be having screen central,2 speakers,1 either side but wont be on show

yet to do this week

-dynamat rear doors
-fit new rear speakers (when they arrive)
-make custom satnav system (renault carminat style)
-fit pocket for changer (when it arrives)
-fix wiper arm on driverside as a pigeon managed to fly at me on the dual carriageway shattering a wiper but fortunately not breaking the screen

ended up being severely limited to what i could do due to this weather but ive managed to redo some parts in my favourite material :D

which?both of them?i think dk would be the better person to talk to about selling this sort of stuff as he has a bit more "know how" with it.next up is the bit behind the number plate, then to the badges and maybe wiper blade scuttle panel but thats going OTT although i am thinking bonnet...

cheers buddy

had a few bits arrive today:

replacement centre airvent
cd changer cubby holder
replacement centre caps (for when my wheels are refurbed)

well had a busy day today

-re-aligned my driver side wiper arm
-fitted cd changer pocket with ipod docking station, the ipod holder is bolted in and ipod just slides in and out,i just need to find the changer surround and pop that on

DSC00010.jpg

-moved mic for parrot as i wasnt happy with the sound quality from the OEM position
-fitted the maority of my wiring kit for the amp as i need to take out the passenger seat to route/mount the amp underneath, wouldnt even know it has one fitted as the cables are hidden

DSC00012.jpg

Cable goes from battery through OEM cabling and up to scuttle panel then to the right of the pollen filter and through a grommet just to the side of it. down into the car and along the side panel to the will be amp
-also stripped down the rear doors and fitted replacement hertz components, cabling going through OEM loom and im currently in the process of dynamatting and sound proofing the doors.cables have been threaded through to be hooked up to my amp.will carry this on on wednesday due to other things tomorrow

DSC00011-1.jpg

got to order some replacement SMD's to replace on the parrot kit so it has a red background light

thats it at the mo

been a while since ive updated this but now all doors dynamatted

DSC00001-1.jpg

custom mount for parrot kit complete so i now have no cup holder just a blank button and no cable on show

DSC0008.jpg

DSC0006.jpg

then all my cables routed to the underside of my seat for my amp

DSC00013.jpg

although it is now all going to be pulled out as i have managed to get hold of a KTP-445 which is basically a plug and play alpine amp that needs no other wiring

oh and change rear springs as i had one from the wrong model!

Its been a long time since ive updated this but ive been messing about and thinking of what i could come up with.
I scratched the satnav idea as one i adore came out which i had to have.

Since then the one thing i have missed from my old clio (which is saying something) is steering wheel controls!!

So I did a bit of thinking and have come up with a universal bit of kit which can be fitted to any car space permitting.
Could be brought further forward if you wanted to but i didnt want it too close to the indicator stalk.
