How are you finding the K1 mate? Got your eye on any mods for it yet, or gonna enjoy and get used to the speed before you fettle?

It's run in now and I am starting to enjoy the benefits of using the rest of the power ;) , although that said am finding it strange as the Mk4 Cupra TDI had so much mid range grunt in 6th compared to the K1 I am re-learning how to drive a petrol car

I have no plans for mods for until at least after 10K is on the clock, however the list of mods and costs/comments shown by RCS2K4 is very extensive and starts to fill in the gaps of what can be done.

It's got me thinking anyway..... :D

I believe they are just discs YIN. Hurdy was referring to rotors which are large 2 piece discs.

I considered these, but the IC won out this month :cartman: I'm not all together convinced they would make enough of a difference to warrant the price. Though they are hefty chunks of metal your paying for.

I might get the fast road pads they offer, but I don't know about replacement discs. I think the suspension would be more essential for overall stopping performance.

Yeah, I do recommend you let the engine run-in a bit before upping the power. I covered 8K before the REVO went on there...

Do things one at a time though, and dont over-do things to early! Stick to doing things in this order:
Uprated Intake
Revo Stage 1
Forge Boost Valve
TB Exhaust
Revo Stage 2
Fuel Pump
Intercooler
Revo Stage 2+
Suspension and Braking Upgrades

Of course, you dont have to follow that ;)

And dont overcook things, your Leon could fall ill as a result...

I didn't know there was a Stage 2+, is this newly developed for the fuel pump upgrade??

You have a dyno of your car, or it's just a hypothesis?

For me, it's possible, but a dyno allows to see the true power.

My car, with just a full Milltek exhaust and ATh stage 1 : 319 cv and 481 nm (315 BHP and 355 Ft.Lb)

I would also suggest upgrading the brake fluid. Whilst the stopping power is ok for road use, any prolonged use with the Dot4 cooks the fluid because of the brake assist function where extra "boost" is given to the hydraulic braking circuit.

that's awesome power.. I'm aiming for 350+ as well, but more difficult in
SA due to fuelling problems:cry:

So which intake works best with the Aerodynamic kit/K1 kit?

There is no difference between the Cupra and K1 mechanically. If you were to open up the venting on either bumper you would be better able to feed air to an arch mounted air filter. A dbilas would work the same on either car too.

Am I correct in sayig that the DBilas is the generally accepted best alternative by SCN members?
