hi guys a little bit of help needed.... my k04'd ibiza cupra has developed an oil leak from one of the oil lines... i believe to be the return (bolts onto the bottom of the turbo with 2 M6 bolts and runs straight to the sump. It appears to be leaking around the join from metal to braided pipe...

at the moment it won't remember the last track played etc, it's not too urgent but it is getting annoying overtime having to turn the sub down etc or program in radio stations every time i get in the car.

Me and my mate are always trying to get a better airflow for our cars and i cant get a bigger cold air feed, currently using a cupra airbox and intake with a K&N panel just had a thought today about a bonnet scoop but you think or will it look sh*t ?
Can't put any pics up as my laptop has been stolen but fitted a rather smart double 3" cold air feed today....got a nice 3" flexi hose from work and a cold air intake to replace oem intake and battery relocation brackets. Have moved battery across and then put a nice feed to the right hand fog...
Anyone know the oil feed thread size for Garrett turbos? Mine is this:
Hoping one side is -4AN. Could the other be 1/8"NPT (the side that screws into the turbo itself)?
I fitted my induction kit a few weeks ago, but being in a rush, never put the cold air feed in.
I was playing around with it last night, trying to decide where to put it... does anyone have any recommendations/pics?
ive seen it going to the foglight which would be ideal, but from reading...
ive seen on a few cars that they have cut a hole out of the bumper and put an anodised ring there with a pipe to the filter/box.
I would like to do the same on mine, holesaw the bumper before it gets painted and fit the ring and pipe.
Can this be done on the mk2 and if so where can i get...
What is the largest cold air feed someone has fitted to their LC/LCR?
I just went out and measured mine and its only 90mm
I am looking for a 110mm air feed, as it has the space to fit this (just!)
but the largest I can find is 102mm...
Speaking with Bill regarding my recent g/s...
anyone put a Cold air feed into a leon wing/side of bumper yet??
i've seen it done on various vehicles but i'm not sure that the air flow over it wont cause the air to be sucked out the feed rather than drawn into it... in which case i need ram air from the front... now if i use the old foggy...
after spoting the thread about the intake pipes in this tdi section ive seen people seem to do the r32 dsg mod...
but as im a tightass(lol) i plan to just fit 80mm flexible ducting as many do on mk4 golfs..

Does anyone know of a 12v feed around the lights switch that comes on with the ignition (not permanent 12v) and stays active while the car is started? I've seen the boost gauge posts about the blue/grey being able to be used for the dimmer and that the fat red wire is 12v, but is there one that...
Had a bit of a play yesterday, gave the panel filter a clean, Plus had the standard cold air feed that goes from behind the head light to the bottom of the air box removed,
I cant believe how restictive this looks as standard, i possibly think it a combination of cold air and sound...

Right guys,i've searched this place for info on adding a cold air feed to LC 180 20VT's,all that comes up is info for the LCR boys and links that have either died or photo's have gone.Surely a LC owner has done this mod,i looked in the engine bay and there's no way on earth,an 80mm feed pipe can...
Hi all, in desperate need of help.
I have removed the two plastic covers from above the back of the headlamp that direct air to a corner piece that goes around the battery. This corner piece then connects to a plastic hose that directs air to the air filter.
I cannot get this damn corner...
Hi all. Can someone please tell me what a sufficient length of neoprene ducting would be to construct a cold air from the front grille of an LCR (nearside-side of the 'S' badge), around the battery and to point towards an open cone air filter? Most places seem to sell by 1m lengths, is that enough?
I am unable to locate a gromit in which to feed the amplifiers power lead from the battery into the cabin! Ive searched on here and on google but am unable to locate this gromit!! Found one but its not £2 coin size like some are saying! Also where would it come in from once this gromit found...
