Just fitted a Blueflame 3" downpipe with sports cat :)

Feels quite a bit better now. However the turbo is whining when above 15ish PSI. I think it's
probably normal I'm just a bit worried because I heard a similar noise just before my k03s
went POP.

Have not done any logs yet to see the difference but when I fitted it I noticed my TIP was hanging off
(D'oh) so I re-fitted that also.

I will actually take some pictures on the weekend of my latest mods and add them.

You dont hang about do you, just out of interest has it made your Milltek system any louder? :)
Was nice to meet you, and have a look at the car, I liked the bonnet spacers.

Hello mate.

Yeah it is deffo a lot deeper. It is louder but not by loads. It's still silent at certain revs but when you go for it, the noise picks up.

Yeah nice to meet you too. I think I bought my old baileys dv off you too now I think about it?

Just a couple of pics after a wash earlier.

Think I'm going to lower the rear a notch and sort the arches out so it doesn't rub, the
stance isn't quite as good as it used to be (although it's not on even ground in these pics)

I'll put them up in Seat pictures too.

Cheers mate, will probably be at somepoint over the weekend.

Need to swap it asap though as its gone back to boosting at 0.4 again :(

You reckon its definitely the sensor? could the timing be out if that doesnt sort it ?

Hmm interesting, the bloke i got it off did say it had had the belt done.. whether he meant chain and belt i don't know :(

Don't really wanna spend out on the 2 sensors if they aren't the problem though. So will have to get the timing looked at as i don't have a clue what I'm looking at lol!

He won't have had the chain done unless something went wrong with it or the tensioner.

It would make sense if the timing is out tbh. Especially if it's just been done and may have been done wrong.

Don't buy any sensors yet. I would check it for you but it's a day time job and im not free for the next 2 weekends.

Se autos in Guildford are a vag specialist and it's the guy I bought my Cupra from. He'd be able to check it for you easily. Not sure how much he'd want but I wouldn't keep driving it if I were you until it's been checked.

I'll get his number if you want?

Well I stayed behind at work today to fit my new rear brakes. Only standard disks and pagid pads but
it needed doing. I also sorted out my exhaust fitment as it had been rattling since fitting the DP and took
a couple of pics of the rear ARB as I havn't put any up yet.

Here are a couple of pics:

Fitted my SSQV the other day and F*ck me is it loud!!

Even when you're at 0psi and lift of it's making noises lol.

Anyway it eventually put an EML on which I was half expecting and starting cutting out when you return
to idle.

I'm going to buy the adapter to make it re-circ to keep the ECU happy and hopefully it will sound
cool.

I'll try put up a video or something when I have done it to show the sound.

Nice looking car mate, hard work is paying off :) Best choice of alloys aswell ;) Love my superleggeras, simple classic sporty alloy and fooking light and brembo friendly!

Where did you pick up for ARB's from? Think its the next mod on the lost for me, only hear good things about them!

Nice work:D

Thanks Bud, yeah I thought they were light when I switched them over :)

I got my Nuespeed from Awesome gti. You will need a 90 degree bracket to mount it too
but luckily the seat belt mounts we use at work were the perfect size :)

Badger5 sell the brackets if you cant make your own up.

I want colour coded strips like yours but can't decide if it would suit black :(

Well, she's up for sale very soon folks :(

I have just bought an LCR so still in a SEAT :)

I will be sorting out a few niggles this week and I'll give it an oil change for the new owner, then she
will be up for sale.
