Hybrid next to standard

Just got pipes to connect up really had to call it a day as it started to get dark i never took any photos of the hybrid on but ill try get some tomorrow.

Cheers mate i just basically stood around watching my mate set about it but was good to watch as i know a wee bit more about them now. Had to take manifold off again which has a couple of cracks in the collector but they are pretty small so could just be surface cracks if it blows again ill just get it replace as he had the manifold off pretty rapid.

Still waiting on my tip to arrive which had a delivery date of 24th feb so i sent the guy an email saying if he doesnt reply to my first email ill be opening up a dispute for a refund as its happened to a couple of folk that have bought from him.

Yeh get him rang up, he seems proper busy at the mo like. Still waiting on these sai and egr valve deletion via the map.

Things have pretty much stopped with mine like, jealous of the hybrid haha had the tracking done last friday and the handling is awesome now, if yours isnt done id get it done!

Just aswell you said that mate id of phoned him up asking for Paul haha just getting te name changed on the phone now!

Lets hope the hybrid is worth it mate but looking at the two side by side you can see how much has changed even my mate was saying there was a big difference. Also hes gonna change the oil pump for me aswell as ive heard the spring in them can be prone to going like not being able to push the oil back up so ill do that for piece of mind i reckon.

Once im done with the hybrid thats me finished so ill just drive it and enjoy it untill ive paid it off next feb then decide if i want to keep it or not but i think i will as i do enjoy it.

Will the lines off the k03 not fit? This turbo is in great nick mate no play in it what so ever, your welcome to come down and inspect it before you buy it though bud

I got the turbo on been keeping a light foot though as ive saw it hit over 25psi on the boost gauge but ever since fitting the new turbo and MAF the car is running sweet even on start up it sounds good now!

Im still waiting on John emailing me back Scott i fear i may have to ring him again!

Be VERY careful. The guy up here who maps them was seeing 30 PSI in 5th when booting it.
That's why you need a very low pressured actuator spring to control this

Yeah ive been driving about 40mph everywhere right now although mpg is still bad

Ive been trying to source a smaller spring but not really sure where to look?

it sounds awesome the now wil need to get a blast in it once its set up, hopefully stick the k03s on mine next week if my mates up for it! did u order new gaskets etc for the hybrid aye?

If its a Forge actuator then Forge will manage to get you different spring.
What did CR turbos say about which one is in there just now?

Cr told me that they set the actuator pressure to what it's meant to be at. Do you not just need it mapping and that's it?

Aye alex but you can re-use the mani to head gasket but for what its worth id replace them all as there not much.

Yeh but you can check when the wastegate opens Scott to make sure everything is ok
