Breathing Mods sorted, another check off the list..


Airbox lid smoothed, a popular mod with the leons, smoother airflow, you can see the smooth sides...

Then in with the new Green panel filter...

Do the bit's on the top aswell mate.
Also did you take the funnel bit out where the MAF goes in ???

Yes matey i did, there were the two screws that hold the maf unit into the airbox lid, i cant see how i can get to the ridges on the top to remove them, any tips?

I decided to go full on with the leon, but its gunna be a big project, i started on the N/S wheel and arch....

i used a mixture of meg's a.p.c, and a trim sealent,

During... You can see the dirt on the rear shell, a clean patch,

A few afters.....

Then the wheel needed a good clean,

After

Wheel back on..

Back down on the floor,

Gunna do each wheel then start on the underneath, then the engine bay, will keep you posted.

Very nice work mate! Simple things like cleaning the inners of the wheels makes a massive difference to looks! I noticed when I did mine for GTI....

You need a dremil or a drill to get the bits out of the bottom.
On the LCR the funnel need's to be there, Dav3 tock his out and we think thats what killed his MAF.

Update...

I have ordered a boost gauge and a pillar pod, which i have to fit, when they arrive,

I have also resprayed the rear diffuser in the bumper back to matt black, as it was colour coded.

Update.... been a while

Sorted the interior side out of things this month,

With a Becker Mexico Pro head unit linked into my harmon and kardon go + drive ipod interface,
Also my new boost guage in pillar pod, best one i could get to match the dials...

Wheels are next on the list to sort out over xmas
