Now do i get rid of carbon bonnet or do i not. In a bit of a conundrum as to weither or not to put standard back on and get a gloss black roof instead.

Right update time i have till february to go mad lol so on order for end of the month i have put a deposit on chris toones Big race forge intercooler and have also done the same on a large port Agu head.

Next plans shall be to polish the agu head, supertech valves and springs, ie rods, sem manifold and get a manifold for the turbo.

Will get picks up end of the month when these parts arrive

Right update time. I have received the intercooler, agu head and turbo manifold. Attended the rolling road last night at Wallace performance and put the car on the rollers to get a base. Car was running rich and wouldn't lean to get a run. Hose was found split and was replaced by the guys at Wallace (big thanks for this). Was then put back on but no real difference. They reckon it was Maff. Al done some logs but still inconclusive. Ordered a new maff today incase and to rule out so shall fit and see tommorow.

On another note got my own vag com cable to work at lunch time so shall try doing some more logs tonight and then tommorow when I fit the new maff. Also gonna check injectors to see if any problems with them.

Have a video from last night that I shall put up but isn't much.

Thanks for looking mark

Alright Mark, was at the meet last night, didn't get a chance to talk to you much but that was me that said you could have tried my MAF if I'd known that was what was wrong. Shame about your result, I had something similar at a RR day down south not long ago.

Usually when a MAF is dying it's under-reading how much air is going in which would cause the car to run too lean rather than too rich, altho having said that if you're investing this much in your car then it won't hurt to have another one around if that isn't what's wrong.

Rich running can be the result of a boost leak, was it a boost hose the Wallace guys tried to fix?

Check your car for fault codes with VAGCOM, sometimes particularly bad boost leaks show up there, apart from that log block 115 which will show you requested vs. actual boost, leaks should be evident from this.

Nice car tho, have read this thread in the past and wondered what the carbon bonnet would look like in real life, was impressed last night :)

Thanks in advance
